This is where we get cakes and cookies when we want to level up our hosting game or show up at someone’s house with something gorgeous and decadent. Definitely a huge step up from your average grocery store bakery and that’s reflected in the pricing, but depending on your needs, totally worth it.Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free bakery items too.

I bought a quarter sheet chocolate Parisian cake for a work event to feed 24. I had checked reviews and pricing with other name brand bakeries, but there was not much to go by and I needed a crowd pleaser chocolate cake and could not spare it looking cheap (this cake was pricier than most).I called in my order a week ahead, and a day ahead I changed pickup time which they readily accommodated. By the way they seem to be the only bakery that is open early. Pickup of my cake was fast and problem free. Therefore I would rate service as good. One thing I forgot was my long bread knife to cut with. They did not provide complimentary knives and the one they had available for sale was not ideal for cutting a quarter sheet cake. At the party, the cake looked great until we cut it. The Parisian is made with whipped cream which is softer than buttercream. Somehow the cake was not refrigerated long enough, hence the interior middle was still slightly runny. As soon as it was cut, the middle pieces "spilled their guts"! For this I would say the presentation did not live up to the price. In terms of taste, most were happy with the cake, it was lighter than typical chocolate cake. We were able to cut smaller pieces and hence the quarter sheet can yield more than 24 slices.

Bought a couple pastries from here today and they definitely taste as good they look and boy did they look fantastic. Definitely will be picking up sweet treats from here in the future.

The other Viktor Benes I've been were great in the past. This one is terrible. Worst service ever. They get orders wrong and take people out of order in line. I'll go to other bakeries from now on which is sad because Viktor Benes use to be my go to.
