We have eaten here quite a few times since they opened, take out and eaten in. Always received what we ordered and a decent quantity of everything. The rotisserie chicken, chicken kabobs and chicken shawarma has all been very good. Will be back soon.

I had an online order that was missing food. Unfortunately, I didn’t discover the food was missing until I got home. I called and asked if they could just refund the missing items, and they refused to do so. Definitely not going here again. Terrible service.

This is more of a question... Why does it smell like a men's gymnasium inside there? Is it the food or the walls I can't tell. Inquiring minds want to know ???

We ordered the family meal to go with some sides. The chicken was huge with brown, crispy skin and juicy on the inside. All of the sides were fresh. Best Zankou experience. Better than the ones we frequented in L.A.
Negative reviews aren't wrong. I'm not sure if these folks got a bootleg Zankou franchise, or the boys at corporate selling them sub par chickens or not hooking them up with the proper spices but something ain't right here. We've tried this location a few times now and today we kept it only to the chicken...it still was not good compared to other Zankou spots. Owners need to take a field trip to the Glendale location or the Hollywood one and figure out how they do it, because this ain't it homey! We want Thousand Jokes to have a real Zankou, so let's get it together guys. Will try again in a few months, but this will be you last shot guys!

The Thousand Oaks location is Terrible all the way around! Don't bother going. Food is bad and service is bad too. The guy at the register doesn't even know the menu.

The younger front service girl is very rude to say the least for no reason at all, and has a really bad attitude. I'm starting to think they're just going to hire anybody nowadays. Lots of people don't like their day jobs but at least do the bare minimum. She also blames her mistakes on the customers and courier's who pick up food from there. There's plenty of other people who could fill that position. Don't come here.

Zankou Chicken in Thousand Oaks has rotisserie chicken, wraps, kabobs, salads and now bowls that look really good. had the half chicken and it was great. I was looking for something healthy after the holidays. I saw a guy eating a bowl and I wanted that. Next time. Very pet friendly. A little cold right now but it will warm up.

Updated Review 1/12/23: I was ecstatic when this location opened, because I love the one in the Valley. I've gotten take out here a number of times since, and I've stopped going, The food just isn't the same. It's bland and tasteless. The chicken tarna has almost no flavor. Despite being open for a year, this location is still not listed on the main Zankou website for online ordering, which makes me think it's not long to last.

Food is great but employees are not,went with a coupon and the cashier told me she had already done the transaction and couldn't do the discount,she confused me when I mentioned to her she was wrong,she hesitated and told me she had applied the discount and it never showed on my phone statement. Zankou manager needs to retrain employees to be not only conscious but professional I don't feel comfortable going back,this is about the principle not the discount

The chicken Sharma was absolutely disgusting dry and tasteless. I actually got ill in the middle of the night and vomited from this food.highly recommended not to go there.
