“Fantastic! We had a great time at Frisky Business. The owners are kind and passionate, and greeted us with excitement. You get any drink you want, which they bring to you in the cat room— and they take great care to have good coffee, matcha, and really nice drinks in the fridge. There were 10 kitties, as two had just been adopted. At first they were mostly napping, but they warmed up to us as we coaxed them out and played with them. It was extra fun to give them treats and earn more trust. I will be back absolutely any time I’m in the area! Didn’t get many photos because I was too busy enjoying the cats. Great vegan options!!“

“I don't know how I ever missed this downright adorable shop? I walked in for the first time and was greeted warmly the owner was absolutely charming and I'll tell you it certainly takes your breath away with the ambiance it's so charming whimsical magical and fun. Coffee is absolutely delicious. It was so amazing and I returned back the following day for lunch. I had the turkey cranberry sandwich with potato salad absolutely mouth-watering and delicious. While there dining there were two ladies at the table next to me just ranting and raving about how amazing ALL the dishes are. This is indeed my favorite place now & anytime my girlfriends come to meet me or I just want to get away and get spoiled for breakfast or lunch it is my go-to place. Give it a try!“

“It's a beautiful outdoor space. I'm for biased for sure, because nothing is nicer than coffee on a sunny morning. My cappuccino was excellent, cinnamon biscuits not so. It was soggy. To be to my taste, it should be more dry. Service was good. You order on the counter and the server will bring you to your table.“

“UBE Matcha Latte. I could end the review with those three words. When I say this is a must order I mean it. It is sooo good and pretty. Look at those colors. The ube compliments the matcha flavor so well. None of that bitterness from the matcha that is typical. The ube masks that flavor with a subtle sweetness. I love it and got it two days in a row. The turkey club is also surprising good for being a cold sandwich. We just wanted to grab a quick bite before heading to the tennis tournament. The vibe and ambience is also really great. They actually roast the beans right in the lobby which makes it a very unique experience. The service is great and fast. Everything about this spot is amazing. 10/10 one of the best spots if not the best restaurant/coffee in the area. Thanks for the pretty drink!“

“Wow! Was not expecting it to be this good. Tried the mushroom melt. It was amazing. One of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Perfection from beginning to end… soft ciabatta and perfectly melted white cheddar smothered on mushrooms with arugula. Did not see this sandwich on the regular menu, only on a specials menu at the counter, but hope it becomes a permanent item. Boyfriend had the breakfast sandwich on jalapeño cheddar bagel, and we both had the breakfast potatoes with a side of green salsa. Delicious! Staff was polite, friendly, and attentive. Marilyn one of the managers went the extra mile to make sure we had an excellent experience. Can’t wait to be back!“

“You can go for the coffee, which is good, but the pastries are the star of show. The chocolate Swiss bread is worth making this a destination every time you drive this way. We also had the savory spinach pastry. Mmmmm. It's clear the owner wants you to have a great experience.“

“Whatever Starbucks is putting into their matcha latte is causing inflammation. Either I'm allergic to the oat milk they use or the matcha tea powder mix ... or both ... so I'm finding alternatives. Sotto Voce in palm Desert has been on my radar for quite some time. Their matcha lattes are excellent quality and they don't just automatically dump vanilla syrup in it like Varraco and others do .... So they're definitely more than a cut above the rest. I put a little tiny bit of cane syrup in mine & it was perfect. This store is a bit of a challenge to get to as you have to walk through the whole mall to get to it. But the palm desert garden malls is a beautiful mall as it is open air and I could use a walk in the morning Have a Good Day“

“The coffee was pretty good. For a coffee snob like me I'm looking for a little more in the way of good bean choices but this place is still much better than the other chain options around the area. I should also add that the muffin and cookie I had were top notch!“

“We biked here from our hotel, JW Marriot, early morning and grabbed some pastries and lattes. The pastries were delicious, but wish they weren't so sweet, but the lattes were not as good as I hoped. We ordered some special holiday flavors and they tasted very artificial. We do recommend the pastries though!“

“My boyfriend and I found this place on yelp and decided to come get dessert here. When we walked in we were WOWed! The ambiance is amazing! It's such a nice place and super clean!! The options for desserts are endless and everything looked so amazing!!! We got the Nothin' to Snicker About and holy moly it was delicious!!! It looked exactly like the picture! “So I got off work working the night shift all night and was craving an açai bowl! This little family owned shop was the only one open on my way home! I figured I'd stop in and give them a try as I walked in I was greeted by a super friendly employee Rock dodger shirt, go Dodgers ha ha and she took my order super quick and super friendly. There was a few people who were waiting on their orders in front of me and the employee was still super friendly and professional and worked on getting all of our orders out in a timely and professional manner, they did have a few seating areas in the store where you could sit and enjoy your smoothie or your juice or your fruit bowls! They had a very big menu of smoothies, different juices, and different fruit bowls, that you could purchase and try! As I watched her, prepare my order of two açai bowls She was making everything fresh nothing was already premade everything was made from scratch and fresh! It was also a nice atmosphere to relax. There was some upbeat music in the background, but overall my first time there was an awesome experience was greeted when I walked in, was helped in a timely manner, and also pricing was reasonable. as my order was finishing up being made, the new owner walked in, and she was very friendly and welcoming, and greeted me with a good morning. Started a conversation with me as she began to help the other employee prep, and prepare more orders that were coming in will definitely be back to this small family owned businessOh my I’m speechless the açaí bowl was so amazingly fresh and delicious from the fruit to the granola and even the yogurt tasted so fresh I kinda want another one! “JJ coffee is the best. No other coffee shop is as good as this one. Sometimes the wait time gets a bit long from the time you order to the time they bring it out to your car but that's ok. Also, they may need to reconsider other to go cups. The other day I had one in my cup holder in my car and it dripped out due to the cheap cup it was in. Today my wife brought me a coffee home after running an errand this morning and I had the same issue. The white cups they use, I've never had this issue but the brown and orange ones they use are kind of janky.“

“We came in to dine in really quick but somehow caught them off during their kitchen change or breakfast to lunch. We ordered 2 items that took over 45 minutes to prepare. We unfortunately had to get going so we took it to go, the food was great, location is awesome in side the spa hotel. Plenty of parking on street and location.“

“I've always preferred Coffee Bean And Tea Leaf shops to Starbucks because they have more comfortable interiors. They feel less sterile and a lot cozier. This one's no exception. There were several tables and chairs but also a couple of upholstered chairs for those of us that like to linger over our coffee. The coffee itself is to my mind smoother than Starbucks although I am a very regular Starbucks customer too! The shop is right on the main drag on the Paseo, making it a great stop for husbands killing time while their wives shop. The Starbucks up the street is also nice but again is not as inviting inside.“

“This Starbucks location ALWAYS makes my drink just right and are always greeting everyone through the door no matter how busy they are. No matter if I mobile order or go thru drive thru I can always count on them doing my drinks the perfect way. I primarily do mobile orders because I always hit rush hour before work, but I can always count on them having it ready before my shift. I like to mention that I live in the LQ cove and always drive pass the Starbucks on Washington because meh, but can always count on the Starbucks on Simon Drive. Keep up the great work guys! “Indio had a high of 115F the day I stopped by and this Starbucks location relieved me of my thirst and heat.+2 stars: I got my usual matcha green tea latte with soy and no ice. The friendly staff double checked (at the register) and triple checked (by the barista) to make sure that I wanted a cold matcha green tea latte without ice. The drink came out perfect and fast. The staff worked well with each other behind the counter. Many patrons came in to pick up their to go orders and leave.+1 star: The large seating area for this Starbucks location was well-lit. Many patrons came in to chat and have their coffee. There is outdoor seating, but it is just too hot, even at around 8am. The day I went, the outside temperature at 8am was easily in the 90s.+1 star: Two restrooms were clean, no pin codes needed. This was helpful especially after my two hours nonstop driving.+1 star: Fast wifi log in when I needed to work for just a short while. The air conditioning was on blast and that felt good when thw outside temperature was 90s and 100s. There were enough parking spots in the lot for indoor dining or online order pick up. There is also a drive through for those who don't wish to step out into the heat.Overall, I'd return to this Starbucks when I'm in the area again.“

“My boyfriend ordered boba for both of us through DoorDash. He requested a small detail on my boba and they did it! It was so sweet of them to go out of their way to accommodate this request. Boba itself was good! I can’t complain about the Jasmine Milk Tea, it was good and I’m glad I requested less milk because I prefer tea more. I wish there was an option to choose a cup size, I thought it would be one size due to the no option on dd. My bf loved his cookies & creme boba smoothie with creme brûlée. “I came in today and both of my drinks were very good. The boba is chewy and sweet. My friend is very picky about green tea and she loved it. We got 2 big sizes and it was very cheap. If anything, it was my fault for not ordering light ice cuz I ran out of drink with still alot of boba. Definitely recommend.“

It has become more expensive but there are specials on Tuesdays and Thursdays that can help out your wallet quite a bit so if you plan a little bit then you can save if you're a stop every single day in the morning then you're going to have a least of $30 a week habit and for coffee that's quite a bit especially when I can buy Starbucks Brew it at home and take it with me and I'm sure that Starbucks doesn't mind how you use their coffee as long as you are using their brand“

The individual bathrooms are usually pretty clean and this location is not usually super busy inside. I don't get fancy drinks however the espresso is Starbucks-like (always burned and that's the way it is). Pro tip: be polite and call people by their name and you'll get great service anywhere.“
