Service is always nice even when they have a full house. Had a friend come into town and she asked me to take her here again.

Great little gem nestled in the cozy seaside neighborhood of Torrance. Great ambiance, high-quality local fare and good service. If you haven't already come check it out everything on the menu here is delicious. Also has a nice bar and stage which offers local music from time to time. ?

Fun place- good food, good prices. We went to catch up and happened to be there in trivia night, so it was really loud- but that was our bad! Trivia seemed fun. I would definitely go back

Live music was great. But because of the music, the guests at tables were not leaving after dinner and stayed to dance, and our reservation could not be fulfilled, so we just stood by the bar. And my date was wanting to eat, but not standing.

I absolutely loved this place. The ambiance is great. the location is great. Very classy people. We had drinks ( OK drinks) and appetizers. The fried olives were very good! This place is perfect for a date night!

Great band, awesome atmosphere and great food. Everything we had was delicious and we loved being there. Felt very inclusive and fun for everybody in our group, which is extremely eclectic. And everyone was happy. :)

We went to Hey 19 with a group of 6 to have a meal and listen to the blues music. The band was really good the service not so much. We had a server by the name of Karen that said it was her first night! Why would they have her wait on tables on her own I don't know. It took us so long to get our drink and food order in because she had to go ask the other staff constantly about any questions we had. The food took forever and when we were done we could not find her for 15 or more minutes! Some of us wanted additional drinks etc. I had to go to the other staff and they finally came over to take our plates away and get our drink order. She said our server was in the back office as she was the manager! What??? Terrible service, especially if she is the manager!

I had tried Hey 19 years ago and enjoyed and therefore went there recently. The food was good. All help was kind. The waiter, Walker, was personable and efficient. However, I was disappointed in the atmosphere. It was stark and uncomfortable. We had wanted to watch the game on tv but there was a teeny one miles away by the bar and for the main dining area, the large screen tv is actually a projection style tv from the 80's! Blurry with poor sound. We used these 40 years ago. It is a poor excuse for a theme. If updated I will consider returning. If not for the service and food, it would not even be a possibility. Please consider revamping as I'd love to use a neighborhood eatery closer to home. Thank you.

Rob the new bartender is great. Just what this bar needs. We were here for new years eve. He knows how to make a drink. Now rebeca the other bartender not so friendly. I think she thinks she owns the place

My one star is to give props to the sweet server who tried her best. This was my first time there, and it looks like a cute and fun place to go out for drinks or see a band play. Unfortunately that is not why we were there, as the fam and I came to have dinner before going out to see the xmas lights at Candy Cane Lane. Our party had 7 adults and 5 kids, which I understand can be a handful but it was 4:45pm and fairly slow. The bullet points: - It took almost an hour to get our food. Trying to entertain kids that long (including toddlers) is an impossibly difficult task. - We ordered a variety of dishes on the menu, and when we asked each other everyone's answer was "eh, it's ok". My fried chicken sandwich consisted of a fast food style bun, with 3 small fried chunks of 'mystery parts' chicken, 2 limp pickle slices and a few drops of mayo (which was listed on the menu as a special sauce). This also included what would be considered a small sized fast food style fries - $15! Outrageous and not good. - The kids menu included a cheese, fruit, and bread plate which sounded perfect b/c those are all things my 2 year old likes to eat. 45 minutes later as everyone's food finally started to come out, the server let me know that they didn't have any fruit for the meal. My toddler was starting to lose it so I asked for cucumber slices in place of fruit rather than risking having to wait even longer for another option to come out. Pictured is the meal that arrived: crackers (no bread), cucumbers, 3 chunks of a medium soft cheese, and not (fully) pictured 4 slices of a white cheese - hard to remember if I saw the price but I believe this was around $10! My daughter loved the cucumber, but did not like the cheese and only ate a few crackers after she dipped them in ketchup. Overall way overpriced, even if she had liked it. The menu theme is nostalgic and fun, and it's obvious they are trying to boast a crafted unique foodie menu ... but right now I can only describe this as a bar with overly priced mediocre food.

The worst! Came in with my husband and 2 kids, service was terrible, and slow and after waiting over an hour for our food it came out cold. We literally walked out of the restaurant it was so bad. Very disappointed as I came here over a year ago and had a great experience so I wanted to take my family back. Tough ending to a great night at sleepy hollow getting in the holiday spirit.
