First time visit to this restaurant (breakfast). Visiting from out of town. Ordered the Hof's Skillet. The dish was somewhat bland and the cubed potatoes were soggy. I was expecting them to be browned and more crispy. The restaurant has an extensive menu for entrées other than breakfast...hoping to give them a try next time I'm in town.

3rd time in a row my sis and I ate breakfast here to which we had same server Barbara taking care of us. Attentive, friendly and great service. Made sure our coffee cups were never empty and we had all we needed. Will definitely ask to be seated in her section next time we go.

One of our favorite spots for breakfast. The food is good and the service is always the best from our favorite person, Barbara. She is always so helpful makes sure our coffee cups are full and checks if we are good many times. Good service is hard to find when the restaurant is busy and breakfast time is super busy. Thanks Barbara see you next weekend! Ana & Gloria

Miss Barbara did a nice job of taking care of our large party. She was prompt and courteous. Our order came out right.

Baked goods are always great here and the food is good too. Usually I enjoy meeting friends here and sharing a meal while catching up. But over this past weekend I had a crappy experience with a waitress named Barbara. She had a smug and superior attitude, and was not welcoming at all. She seemed exasperated that I was not choosing my sides quickly enough, and did not like all my questions about the food preparation. Barbara actually rolled her eyes that we took up her time. She gave us coffee, but did not offer refills and finally the manager stepped in. Then she did not notice or care that we were out of cream. She interrupted our conversations several times and in general seemed put out that she had to be working. I'm not fussy, but i expect pleasant service and a good attitude. Avoid Barbara if you want to have a pleasant breakfast. Food was great though. I had the chicken fried steak that was of a generous size and delicious.

First time here and overall great experience the waitress was quick and accomodating and the food came without delay. The food is spot on delicious. I personally had the steak with mash potatoes and brocolli, and I devoured the entire dish. I will definitely go back and try another dish, but I am pretty stubborn on sticking to a dish that knocks my socks off. I would recommend ordering the seasonal pies before your meal, especially if you're dining in the evening time due to them selling out fast.

Beautiful sunroom and delicious muffins. Thought I'd be the only person under 80 there but the customers were all ages. I think I've been missing out on a gem all these years by thinking it was like Denny's. Way better than I thought!

I had some time between appointments and decided to try this place since I've been passing by it for decades. It was pretty busy, but I was able to get seated right away. The ambiance is an upscale diner. There's plenty of inside and outside seating. It was raining so I chose inside. The waiter that greeted me was Franco. He was so friendly and helpful. What I ordered: I'm a sucker for a great pancake. So I ordered the pancake combo with bacon. I also opted for "those potatoes" instead of eggs. I was curious why they were called that. Once my plate arrived, I knew they were going to be special. They were hash brown cut potatoes with shredded onions, bell peppers and parsley. They were cooked just the way I like them. I'd go back just for that. And I might also add that the pancakes were awesome. The batter was not over mixed. So they were really tender. I will definitely come back and bring my husband who loves pancakes too. I also had coffee. I ended up spending about $20. I think it was reasonable for such a great breakfast.
