Went with a friend of mine he had to pick up a cake so I bought a pastry it was just ok, it cost $3.50, I could have bought four of them at Safeway for $5.. don't think I'll be going back.. but others like it since it's been there for years and years just not for me I guess.. I've never been to the restaurant but I heard that that is just ok..Parking: There is a handful of parking spots up front and more along the side..Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible including the entrance Door..

Went early afternoon on a Friday and ordered the Pupus Platter and a guava Hawaiian sun. The Pupus Platter came with spam musubi, kalua nachos, macnut onion rings, ahi poke, and teriyaki skewers. They also bring complimentary two small hawaiian rolls with butter. I was well tended to, even though I sat at the counter, and my server did a great job of making sure I had everything I needed. Portion size was huge and is enough to easily feed two people. No complaints on the food - I was pleasantly surprised by the lighter batter on the onion rings and loved the poke and kalua nachos. They used ogonori if I’m correct in the poke, which gives it a similar chewiness to wood ear mushrooms. It’s a very diner style vibe on the inside, especially with the counter being directly of access to the kitchen and coffee counter. The bakery and restaurant are very fluidly accessible in the same open space concept. A huge variety for the bakery, and a selection of Kings Hawaiian rolls are purchasable as well.Parking: Free parking lot behind restaurant
King's Hawaiian was amazing!! I had the Teriyaki Beef, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and super nice! Also, the bakery items are spectacular! The Paradise Cake is a must have!!

The cost of going out for food is spiraling out of control. Yet, here they have managed to keep costs down providing great value. One of my favorite Hawaiian comfort foods would have to be Loco Moco. It's pure comfort. All the ingredients combine to make a wonderfully delicious dish. And, while you're waiting for your food. Their beautifully soft rolls should tide you over. This is a great place for a good and affordable meal.

I grew up in Torrance and hadn't been here in 20 years. I was so excited to introduce it to my husband and son. We had lunch on a weekday. Stood at the hostess station where we could see she was getting a table ready for someone in front of us. They walked outside to get the rest of their party. We weren't greeted. Another hostess came and they chatted to each other and we still weren't greeted. It was really only when we started looking around to see if the other party was coming back, that she said hello. Seated us in a booth. I don't know if hard times fell on this restaurant but it looks worn out. The booth fabric was faded and torn in areas. Took a few minutes to be greeted by a server. The rolls were delicious (as expected.) I ordered Saimin and it was a good serving size with char siu pork, green onions, egg, and shoyu/hot mustard on the side. Husband got the trio platter...he enjoyed it. Son got the short ribs which he loved. My husband's ice tea had an earwig floating in it which was unfortunately not spotted until it was halfway gone. That kinda ruined it for us so we opted not to do a dessert. Overall, I'll stick to buying the bread from the grocery store. It was very busy, which is a good sign, but I should've let my childhood memories be.
