Mama Says Italian restaurant, conveniently located in the Rolling Hills plaza next to Whole Foods, proved to be a delightful discovery. The review praises the excellent food made to order at a reasonable price. The mixed seafood pasta ordered to-go was perfectly seasoned, with noodles cooked to the ideal texture, not overdone. The addition of the carrot soup, with its enjoyable blend of seasoning and just the right amount of cream, complemented the meal nicely. Definitely, be back to try other pasta dishes.

Absolute worst experience from both the person at the register and the chef himself. I ordered 7 items and $130 worth of food (including prepaid tip). I arrived 1.5 hours after placing the order and he said Grubhub already picked it up for delivery, even though I made the order for takeout. The man at the register kept making up excuses for why my order wasn't there, til he finally admitted that he gave my order to someone else by mistake. I asked if there was still a way to get my food, and he said if I waited another 45 mins. I asked for a refund, and they only refunded me the original amount of $106. Which means they still kept the pre-paid tip!! I even spoke to the chef to ask if there was any way to be compensated for the inconvenience and he said "if you don't want to wait for your order, there's nothing I can do". So essentially, I waited 1.5 hours for no food and they still took $24 from me

The food is great, I've been coming here for years. I usually do To Go but dining in definitely seems like a good option if I have the time. The ambiance is chill. The service is not so great as I assumed it to be. I placed an order and realized they gave me the wrong order when I got home. When I went back I simply got a sorry.. nothing was accommodated although the mistake was on their end. All is good except the integrity.

I got the salmon cream spaghetti here back in January and I have always wanted to come back. It was very satisfying, and a large portion too. This time I got the garlic rosemary chicken salad cuz I really needed that fiber. That pesto dressing is so good. My bill was about 12 bucks, which is kind of unheard of for a huge hearty salad in this economy. Service is fast and friendly (I went during dinner time, looking at other reviews it looks like lunch time is when they get busy). I'm coming back whenever I need a healthy and filling meal! One of my favorite spots in Torrance. I love coming here for a healthy lunch or dinner. Their wraps are fresh and are made to order. They're huge!! I love the variety of veggies and meats that I can choose to customize the wraps here. Another favorite entree here is the spaghetti bolognese. It's hearty, filling, and comforting.
