I honestly didn't have high expectations for this place. It just looked like a fast food Japanese restaurant. And usually those don't taste very good. But this place was actually pretty good. Will definitely come back.

Absolutely awful. The chicken Bento box and side of tempura shrimp were not fresh at all. The rice was clumpy and the vegetables were undercooked and tough and the tempura shrimp were so stale and chewy that I had a difficult time eating it. After paying $25 for this mess most of it ended up in the garbage. I don't recommend this place if you work in the mall and are hungry on your lunch break. The quality of the food is heinous and the employees are extremely cold and rude. Never again!

I really enjoyed it. I tried it a few weeks ago when I went to the mall with my family and the chicken Teri bento with gyoza and Cali rolls was really good. The funny thing is that I'm not a veggie person I usually prefer my chicken Teri with just rice but the side veggies was so yummy. The service was quick as well. I ordered and maybe only waited about 10 minutes which was great because the line was so long! I ended up ordering some via DoorDash and it was actually just as good as getting it fresh! So I was even more excited! Definitely going back!

Somehow Sarku Japan always hits the spot! I go back and forth from the chicken teriyaki plate and the shrimp plate. They're both equally as good! The cashiers are always in a rush to get your order, however I kind of expect that when they have an extremely long line. The chicken is really juicy and the teriyaki is a little sweet but nothing too absurd. The rice and veggies are just right! If you're in the food court and don't know what to order? Stop by here and try it out.

Borderline false advertising. I got the teriyaki shrimp and there was one piece of broccoli tiny pieces of shrimp and a ton of plain rice. Didn't taste too good either.
So I paid $21 for 2 plates of this sorry meal. This is a rip off. So I paid for cabbage on the side your veggies is supposed to have carrots and broccoli. What is this?

Service is good long line but at the time of ordering the cashier is grabbing and touching the plate with her bare hands no gloves, while taking your money or your any type of payment. don't think I want buy here again
