We usually come to this shop to buy breads and treats. Today, I went specifically to buy wheat bread. When I asked for it, the clerk went to check in the back. She came back and informed me that they now only bake wheat bread on weekends. I was surprised and told her that she couldn't be right because I buy wheat bread often. She suggested it could be a new policy they've introduced. Wanting to clarify, I asked if I could speak with the owner about this change, but she told me the owner hadn't arrived yet.

Every time I go to the H Mart that this bakery is located in, I see a big sign with a pictures that is advertising the "Honey Lavender Matcha"...and every single time I try to order one they say they can't make it. Today they say it's because they're out of lavender. Okay, so how about just the same drink but without the lavender? Nope, they don't have any honey either. Right...starting to get the sense that the lady who usually takes the order just doesn't want to make drinks... It is mostly this reason that I wholeheartedly prefer and recommend the Paris Baguette in Hannam Chain market if you're in the mood for Korean-style baked goods and coffee and tea drinks.

Like other reviews, the manager(?) old Asian lady is extremely pushy and follows you around until you complete your purchase. If you ask any questions, she will get annoyed. Don't expect customer service here. Miss the main location on Sepulveda that closed.

Their products are good, but their cakes are occasionally overpriced. The manager, Jin, is VERY aggressive. Plus, she overcharged us. Worse, reaching the folks at CJ Corporate (the folks behind Tous les Jour) is impossible.

Great coffee and pastries! This is inside the H Mart food court area. You can enter right from the front. Service is always super friendly and it's never too crowded. If you go in the mornings, some of the pastries are even still warm.

The phone number doesn’t work! Google says they’re open but according to yelp they are temporarily closed until December 31st 2023! So I’m confused, the bad review is for Google search and not the bakery!

I think the food is good, the price is a little high, and I have to agree with those reviewers who complained about the manager following you around. I was looking at the pastries and this little lady was behind me. At first, I did not give much thought, and after a while realized she was following me around. I don't know what for and it is pretty annoying. I'm only writing so that she would see this review and stop doing that.

The worst Matcha latte I have ever had in my life and I've had a lot of Matcha lattes first the barista started to make my drink that I requested with almond milk because I'm lactose intolerant with whole milk. I politely asked her to not use whole milk that it would make me sick and I thought that be the end of it but this drink was undrinkable. it was so bitter. The staff was sweet but definitely need to be trained on how to make a proper matcha latte .

Suuuuuuch a great place for desserts that taste like real ingredients and not overly sweet. I have been here a couple of times and even joy the atmosphere and the pastries! The strawberries with crème croissant is so good and his that perfect flaky outside. So much to choose from!

This is my go to place from now on when needing cake for an event. So light, and not very sweet. The Chocolate Cloud cake with strawberries is my favorite, then the Cloud Cake (white sponge). You can also buy a slice of cake, if you don't need a whole cake. If you haven't tried this place...GO NOW! Plus, they have some other pastries to enjoy while you grocery shop in HMart.
Yummt but a little pricey. Got a blueberry cheesecake. Everyone complimented how pretty cake looked.

I alway buy these milk breads, but this time I found a long strand of plastic in the bread. I can't eat it because the plastic looked partially melted.

The owner/manager lady here is super pushy and rude...I've been buying bread here for years but ever since she took over, I always feel rushed and anxious because of her. She'll follow you around the whole time. This place is VERY overpriced for mediocre bread, but I keep buying because of the convenience of buying bread on my way out of HMart. Today I had a particularly annoying experience with her at the cash register (she couldn't wait for me to give her exact change, she was in a rush to get back to the coffee machine), so I've finally decided to get my bread at Tokyo Central (they have way more fresh, soft bread at a much lower price) from now on, even if it's less convenient.

Honestly my first impression of this place is not that great based on how traditional and annoying the owner or manager was. Made a mistake on order and still insisted that I'm supposed to pay $5 over a cake decoration that says "Happy Birthday". Followed us around as we select pastries. Very forceful about going to the other side to select her recommendations of pastries. Overall I was super annoyed by the owner given that I've been a customer for many years.Why is it 5 star? After looking past the boss lady's behavior Chris which is one of the baker who is super friendly and helpful. I needed a cake decor that is not part of their themed cake and they still decorated it with the decor I provided. The decor showed heart and it showed that they are willing to change and do their customers right.Note to the older boss lady, please treat your employees extra nice. Without them I wouldn't come back to your store. And for the love of God, STOP following your customers around. It's not a jewelry store, it is baked goods. Trust me, no one wants to steal bread from you. You are located in an affluent neighborhood. Trust people more. I picked up a pastry because I am walking around to see what other pastries I might like. Maybe because your store is located by the entrance of HMart made you think people are going to dash out.
