This store is a terrible Costxo. Just a mess as items are moved around and in strange spots. And don't even try to talk to any sort of employee or supervisor because they dont even want to be bothered. Most seem to be just gathered around the front eating. Honestly, if this is the direction they are now going with their employees and their rude managers (it all stems from the top) then we should just cancel our memberships and go to our local store bc you don't even really save after factoring the membership costs. And that parking lot and the exit is dumb and a hassle.

12/22/23 - Butcher dept person ran into my cart with his empty-packaging cart (he clearly wasn't paying attention when he started blindly pushing towards customers) - he said sorry then laughed loudly/maniacally. Nearly caused me to fall-over backwards since I was looking elsewhere when I was rammed. I let him know I wasn't laughing.

This goes out to the tire shop manager (I think he was the manager? Due to his shirt looking different from the rest). He saved me when my Harley Davidson had no air in the tires. He saw me struggling putting air in my tires (I was literally flat), and had me roll up to their shop and pumped in air. 10/10 service. Thanks for the save! Also, Costco in general is 10/10 anyways. Love shopping here for everything.

Now I can see we are not the only ones experiencing bad customer service at the Tracy Costco. The eyeglass department has a very rude worker behind the counter. She is an older lady with all white hair cateye glasses. She never says hi back to you, isn't courteous, and never smiles. When you ask for something, it's like you disturbed her whole world! She acts like she owns the place, has a bad attitude and shouldn't be working in a job that deals with customer service with an attitude like hers. She is in the wrong line of business. Maybe it's because I'm not a white person? Who knows she is just plain rude, and should be fired or spoken to about her attitude. I am surprised at Costco for hiring people like this. Looking at all these reviews it seems like I am not the only one experiencing this. Why is Costco not screening people better, who knows? These rude people suck, and will suck the life right out of your day.

My family and I have been a Costco member for 20+ years and for the first time we came across racist behavior at this Costco in Tracy. I have been coming to Tracy Costco once a week with my mother since I was a child and I have never felt this uncomfortable. My mother had an emergent call when the cashier, Amanda, asked her sarcastically, "Do you expect me to unload the cart?".My mother said yes please because she thought she was referring to our large item on the flat bed.On top of that, there was a couple in line behind us talking poorly about my mother with Amanda because she was on the phone. Amanda told the couple behind us that we are rude and careless. I would like to mention that we are not Caucasian and the couple and Amanda are. They continued to talk about us when my mother said that we don't need to be taught how to speak to a cashier nor be mothered.Amanda said that it is more rude to be on the phone as she aggressively threw our groceries in the cart.We spoke to a manager and hope this is well taken care of. I am very disappointed with the assault received by Amanda and if i receive another encounter similar to this, we are more than happy taking our business elsewhere. This was very poor quality customer service.

Really disappointed in Costco been a member for years and they have just gone down hill. Their quality of products aren't what they were. I bought a washing machine a little over 2 years ago and when they delivered it the guy said he will be back and laughed and I said why and he said because this model is known to squeal really loud people return it all the time. It did but I could live with it. Then it started leaking a few months ago. I called Costco they told me to bring it in and then when I get there they said they couldn't take it back. They gave me the concierge to call and I said they won't help me because it says it has to be under 2 years. Then this so called Manager was a joke she was just patronizing me so rude seriously I go to Costco for their quality of products and their return policy but today I can say I'm extremely disappointed.

Love Costco! Tried their new Roast Beef sandwich from the food court. For $10, it was decent. Good for 2 adults to share. Meat was good, bread soft. Just wish the bread was at least warmed up or toasted. It was a cold cut basically. Only a few tables in the food court and all were taken up. Hot out and didn't want to sit outside Costco. We ate our sandwich in the car with the AC on while we people watched.

I love this Costco. Everyone is so nice here. The other day after I pumped my gas at their gas station my car wouldn't start. The attendant there was so kind and came to help me. AAA said it would be 2 hours before they would arrive. So he checked my battery and charged it enough so that I could leave and take care of my car. This is just one example of the kindness I've received from employees here. This is my favorite Costco to come to because of this. Hopefully it never changes.

During my self checkout, a Costco worker approached me and asked to verify my picture in my Costco mobile app. I showed her but I felt offended by her act. There are other people doing self checkout using mobile Costco app member card. Why only me being monitored? was it because I am minority? I have been Costco member many years. In this event, she even monitored what I was scanning. What is this? This is horrible!!! This is the worse experience I have in Tracy Costco.

We moved last year and glad there's a Costco in Tracy. Samples are not offered that often. Feel bad for all the ladies folding all the clothes over and over again. Fruit can be hit or miss. We always buy the boneless lamb for our kebab bbq. Household items are okay.

Poor customer service. I understand your "membership policy" and that people can't use other peoples cards. But to deny a husband and wife using the same membership is nonsense. In what universe does a couple buy two separate memberships? We have the same last name! His foot is broken and obviously isn't shopping. After spending almost an hour and a half shopping for my family, I have nothing to bring home. My time completely wasted over a policy that's poorly enforced, I'm not some cousin trying to use grandma's membership, we are husband and wife using one shared membership that paid for from our joint account. But apparently the expectation is that we should have our own memberships and pay double for the same service. And y'all must be paying your cashiers poorly, if they think they can give attitudes out to your customers. I was given an attitude that I expect from Walmart cashiers, not from an employee where we spend almost $100+ dollars in membership fees annually. So sorry you have to put away my hours worth of work, at least you get paid to waste your time, mine was wasted for no damn reason. At this rate your location isn't much better than Stocktons Costco. And that's saying something.
