this is our second time at Gohan, the food is good, the establishment is very clean especially their restrooms, coffee was to my liking also , first time for my daughter and she said she loves coz of the multiple selections, we went dinner time so a bit crowded, the robot was singing happy birthday to a customer, overall we will come back if we wanted buffet style food, btw is it all you can eat or eat all you can?

Well, after reading all the conflicting reviews from great to poor...my husband and I had to go there and experience this buffet. As previously mentioned, there is a variety of food available spread around 10 food stations. I didn't get to experience every food item because I was pretty full from stuffing myself. We found the food to be tasty and fresh with enough vegetable dishes. It wasn't crowded but was glad mostly Asians, like myself, were present. Usually, this means the food is good. Everything was clean and neatly organized. We paid about $17 each for lunch with drinks, and felt it was beyond reasonably priced. Will return.

My 1st time there with my family. Food was fresh and hot. So many varieties. I went for the seafood and sushi. Self serve drinks.Very big place. There was no wait time. The only con was the tables and chairs are tightly place next to each other. Not a lot of space to get in and out of your chair.Pro: Plenty of parking space.Parking: Plenty of parking space.

The food was so delicious, the choices were amazing and so many types of foods ! We would recommend to anyone, there were so many different types of foods not just Asian, and even kid friendly types of food! Second the place was superiorly cleaned. I would say it is the cleanest place. I have eaten at ever the bathrooms are immaculate clean, and everything is included in your one price, all foods and drinks that I mentioned there's a large variety of drinks that are included with your purchase, we will definitely be back. The only problem with this was we ate too much ! lol, we are so very proud to see a place like this take over the old Hometown. This is 10 times better than the old hometown was so handy right there in the mall thank you Gohan buffet for coming to Tracy !

I wouldn't recommend the food for the price ($25 per person). The chow mein tasted old and the vegetables in it tasted bad/artificial?. The deep fried crab tasted like chemicals not sure how to word it. The best foods there for me were the imitation crab bake, the oyster cheese bake on the oyster shell, and the baked scallop. Those were the most eaten, the crab options was always full. I like that there was a lot of ice cream options but beware that it's pretty artifical from the lots of ingredients that are in it. The cakes are super dry, not at all good. Seems like they cheaped out on the food imo, it's pretty bland. Good staff though sometimes they would take my plate of food when I away.

If you're looking for mediocre tasting food, this is the place for you. I don't know how you screw up cheese pizza, but this place figured it out. The coconut shrimp is basically walnut shrimp without the walnuts. Chicken broccoli, black pepper beef, coconut shrimp, and fried chicken was just ok. Kids agreed the orange chicken was lacking, Mac & cheese was dry, and the noodles tasted bleh. The only thing they agreed was good was the garlic bread. $180.xx (including a $20 tip) for 6 of us. Totally not worth it, but it was our first time here just to try it out. The one positive thing I can say about this place (thus the 2 stars) is that their staff is great. They were friendly, attentive, and fast. The guys cleared plates off our table as soon as they assessed that we were done. Other than that "eh". We won't be coming back, but that's just us.

Chinese Asian buffet came for lunch,lunch price was 17.99 not bad for the dishes offered at lunch. a lot of fish, fresh fried and shrimp, seafood four different options of soups atmosphere is very clean and new recently opened. The dessert. Bar is above normal dessert bars that you would find that other Chinese buffets. Also, at lunch the stirfry made to order station is available not just for dinner so you can make your own stirfry as wanted and needed with your ingredients.
