Better than either KFC or Sticky Chicken in my opinion. But it is Cajun style and a little spicy. If you don't like spicy stick with the other two. Would be nice if the offered some sides like maybe coleslaw or potato salad.

Thursday 9/29 around 5pm: In the East bay we used to call in orders all the time when we order chicken for parties from this place. We called and spoke to a woman who may have been middle eastern, they said they don't take orders over the phone but instructed us to just come in and there's plenty of chicken. So we come in and try to order chicken about 30 plus pieces and muffins but of course they didn't have enough, so go figure, they tell us we should have called ahead! we said we did but were told they don't take orders over the phone?!? Anyhow we were fine with waiting but experienced the most unpleasant I hate my job vibe from heavyset girl at the counter during our transaction. Guy at register was chill. Food was good as usual. Missing the days of service with a smile.

I went to this location today at about 10:15 am to try some Krispy Krunchy Chicken. I walked in and turned to the Chicken. An employee behind the counter picked up a piece of Chicken from the batch and put it in her mouth. She did not have any gloves on. She saw me looking at her and turned around. I immediately left.

I've been here a number of times, and these problems will come up rather frequently: - Out of stock on multiple items in the middle of the day. - Excess grease on the Chicken - Closes an hour early - Serve very old goods ( specifically the sides ) - Subpar service - No receipt Regretfully I have an addiction to fried chicken, and I've been here more often than I should have. The issues above may happen individually or a combination thereof. It's not uncommon for them to skimp out on items in combos or otherwise if they run out with no compensation. Today I also saw a family come in to swap chicken from a previous purchase for a fresher batch, which is a safety hazard to swap and restock old chicken from a family who has left the store and come back. Super gross. The Chicken is decent for a Gas Station, but you're not missing out on anything you can't get fresher at a Popeyes or other chains. Although they are a bit cheaper here. You wouldn't impress anyone with this food from out of town, and unless you're desperate , and I mean really desperate, I would steer clear.

Heard a lot about this fried chicken so when we had to get gas, we did a quick stop here and I tried the Cajun tenders. It was crispy and crunchy as advertised but not the best fried chicken I ever had. Got the Buffalo and barbecue dipping sauces with my chicken. For gas station food though it was decent.
Best chicken in town! This chevron location has everything- food, coffee, gas, store, carwash and lube shop for all your quick needs

The chicken is very good! I went to one in Hayward at a Valero gas station and saw people carrying out big pans of chicken. It was so good I remembered there was one in Tracy. The chicken was still good hot and fresh. I will be going back.

This place is in a gas station, BUT, the wings are excellent. I was a little apprehensive getting something to eat from a gas station kitchen, but WOW! The wings are HUGE, tasty and crispy! Try it you'll love it!
