Pretty expensive but good quality stuff. Right on the lake. Convenient. Sell sandwiches and liquor. Gotta pay the prices to keep them in the neighborhood. I'll pay every so often to keep them around. It's a lot closer to Norden than Truckee!

Nice employees lots of stuff for a small market but don't get a sandwich. I paid extra to "upgrade" to tri tip when he offered it to me and I of coarse said please, but when I got home and took the first bite I was more than disappointed. ONE thin slice of tri tip was all I got. If I was eating there I would have asked for my money back. You couldn't even taste it. It was like eating a veggie sandwich.

Quintessential lakeside store but very high quality everything. We call it the "Beer Boutique". New (to me) is their store branded spices. A short walk for us almost always saves us a drive to Safeway.

They don't have a lot of everything but they've got just enough of an inventory to where they probably have what you need in a pinch to save you from having to run all the way into town friendly customer service and easy to find right on the main street
Cool little place near Donner Lake. Solid sandwiches, great picnic food and a robust beer selection. Felt bad for the only dude working there doing the register and sandwich spot but he kills it. I got the Turkey BLT and the Tahoe Tessie which were both good. Tahoe Tessie is def my recommendation. Beer wise they had a solid selection and a lot of charcuterie options. If you are at Donner Lake, this is your go to. All sandwiches are Boars Head meat so you are getting good juicy meats. Bread is fresh and toppings are fresh. No complaints here.

Lol who closes their deli at 2pm on a Sunday when they're open? There was even a guy behind the sandwich counter. All this place is good for is beer I guess and the push pop I got for my boyfriend . They also don't even have pre made sandwiches so that's stupid. !!Do yourself a favor and go to Z marketplace because even though their deli is closed on sundays at least they have pre made ones!!
