Unfortunately, Giamela's pizza used to be very, very good. However, they have been skimping with the toppings recently. What used to be a generous portion of large pepperoni pieces that would practically cover the whole pizza is now replaced with a meager amount of tiny round thick pieces that are super greasy, rubbery and sometimes burnt. Don't try to fix something that was working.

Can't back to LA to visit and friends asked what I missed eating out here. Did a quick Google search. Giamela's?!?!? Pepper steak?!??!?!? !? <Drool drool> Yaaaaaas!! Deliciousness!! Last time I came, it was a little too salty but this time it was just right. So good!!!! And right across the parking lot is a Yum Yum donuts and Baskin Robbins to grab some dessert.

Gia’s is what we use to call this spot when I visited their Burbank location back in the days! They are still top-notch and super good! Get the O.G PEPPER STEAK! Sad to see this location didn’t have good reviews... I thought the food and service was excellent! Sure, the neighborhood's got a bit of a quirky vibe, but hey, that's just Sunland/Tujunga for you. Swing by, show some love, and cheer on those small businesses!

My first contact @ Giamelas was and remains to this day has been the Pepper Steak & Egg the Pastrami aint bad, bit the PS&E I me really like it. Next is the Pastrami Pizza again I think it is quite tasty that bite of dill pickle merges nicely with the cheese the crust could be a bit more crunchy which would.mean a slight burn but it not really burned, thats just me. I hope when you pull up on them you like it as much of not more than I do!Parking: Several businesses share the same parking so depending on when you arrive it can be tight.

First time here, small parking lot, there was a constant line but it moved very quickly. Most people took their food to go, but there are some tables inside to sit and eat.
It needs improvement compared to Giamelas in Burbank there good . I been going there for several years.

This is a large cold cuts with pesto mayo and extra mustard. At $11 its Possibly the perfect sandwich. I have eaten at this Giamelas more than 100 times. I even had the ravioli and spaghetti delivered when I was terribly sick with Covid. This Giamelas never closed and I am thankful. Did Giamelas cure my Covid, I doubt it...did it make me stronger, Hell Yes! Thank u and keep up the good work!
