This chile relleno plate was good and the portions are big. The place is very cozy although a bit dark. Will be back to try another dish.

I ordered some eggs rancheros in the morning and I asked for my tortillas and they told me that that order does not come with tortillas. Never in my life have I seen them say that in any restaurant, the waiter did not even come up to offer me more coffee as a joke, I honestly do not recommend this one. restaurant if you plan to go bring your own tortillas

Wow! We been going to MiCasitas for years! For that reason alone I gave it 2 stars and not one Has always been an "ok" restaurant. Not great, but not bad either. However, this time was a major let down. Went there on a Wednesday evening. Only one server in the entire place and he was also the only busboy, the only bartender and possibly the only cook! WTH! This guy was slammed to say the least. Got seated and then waited for several minutes before we were even able to order drinks. When he did drop by, we took the opportunity to order our dinner as well and waited...and waited...finally after several more minutes, we got our drinks, water, chips and salsa and then waited for several more minutes. Just as we were preparing to pay the tab and walk out, the food arrived. We ordered the same thing but it looked like whoever prepared the food put all the meat from both orders on to one plate and all of the rice and vegetables onto the other. The food was fair at best. Rice was mushy and a bit slimy and the rest of the dish looked to be covered with a mystery sauce that sloshed around in the tortilla like old soup. As we tried to enjoy our dinner, we listened to several of the other customers discussing the terrible service, food and overall poor quality of the entire experience. When we carefully inquired as to the sticky tables, the really bad service and the food, the waiter just shrugged it off like this is the new normal for the place. We let him know we felt bad for him to be alone in the restaurant, but he acted like this is the norm. I am hoping that the stars aligned for that one terrible experience at Mi Casitas but listening to the other patrons it seems like ownership has lost interest in their beloved restaurant and is letting it flounder. Not giving up hope and we will try it again before we write it off as yet another local establishment that not interested in staying afloat. Mi Casitas, get your act together!

Excellent food and great service. The asada fajitas come sizzling with a large flank steak on top, side of rice, beans, and corn tortillas that are yummy like dessert. The birria burrito is large, stuffed with meat, and very flavorful. The service is friendly and efficient. The downsides to Mi Casita are the prices and homeless in the area. 2 meals and 2 beers are $50 before tip, which is a bit high for mexican food. Also, the homeless are starting to setup camp next door, which is a cause for personal and property safety concerns.

This place is a hidden gem. Their Mexican food has such an authentic taste. This place takes me back to my childhood. Their dessert specialty is a variety of flan flavors . Their service is excellent. The ambience is truly small hole in a wall, yet comfortable (minus the very small bathrooms). Prices are not the cheapest but worth every penny. I highly recommend.

Probably the best Mexican restaurant in the valley as far as service, food quality and taste. The interior is nice and quaint giving an authentic feel of Mexican culture, bringing me back to my childhood. The flan is immaculate too.

Our family has been going to Mi Casita for probably 15 years. Mi Casita is our comfort place, we know that we will love the food, the service is amazing and we love supporting this family. Best Flan ever!!!!!!! We have had many of gatherings here, it is a great place to have a small party in the back room. I am so glad that Mi Casita survived the pandemic. Reiny G.

Really surprised, like my dad said, this place is great! Salsa was sooo good and not too spicy. Margaritas were very tasty and fresh and didn’t taste out of the can. Dinner was delicious, well priced and well proportioned. Service was friendly and prompt. A+

The meat on the carne asada and shrimp plate was tender, flavorful and the handmade tortillas are a great addition to any plate. We were satisfied.
