Chicken wrap is delicious!! Prices are typical of most mom&pop shawarma places but here you actually get your moneys worth. Service was also super quick and friendly. Clean place too, will definitely come again

OK. I tried Sunland Shawarma House the first time and the food was pretty good. Later that afternoon I noticed on my receipt that they had overcharged me by a couple of dollars. Oh, well, maybe just unethical or incompetent but the food was OK. I went back a few days later and ordered the same $15 dish and paid with a credit card. When I recently checked my credit card statement, I noticed that the charge was for $35. I still had my receipt at home and found that they had given me a receipt for a $35 charge and charged my card $35, accordingly. My fault for not checking my statement sooner. Their fault for cheating me twice. If you eat there, be sure to pay in cash, or at least check your receipt for fraud before you leave the store.

This place has the best hummus in Sunland. The chicken kabob is so juicy and full of flavor. Robert was delicious!

Chicken and beef have delicious flavor. I ordered a salad and my 10 year old who never eats salad ate it all up and asked for more chicken, so that should tell you enough. Ordered catering for Thanksgiving and it was a hit. Generous with portions and love that they have family meals, and are open late ,they are next door to Great Wolf Lodge and that's how we found this gem but kept coming back every time we are in the area.

Full disclosure Im French and grew up in Bordeaux, worked at the Kong restaurant Paris and also briefly at the Meurice. In my opinion 98% of restaurants in LA are mediocre, passable and seriously overpriced with bad service. Today we took our handicapped friend who had a stroke and who is now living in a near by retirement home to Shawarma House. We live in Santa Monica and are very unfamiliar with this neighborhood. I had zero expectations upon arrival. We just wanted to entertain our friend. I ordered the lamb plate, my husband chicken and our friend beef. Everything was excellent and fresh. It's the best Mediterranean food I had in a very long time. The restaurant is well kept, clean, modern on a budget with a great energy. The staff were genuinely nice and calm. I was expecting to be scolded for having our small dog with us that we normally never take out with us and apologize. The restaurant was very understanding about it. We will definitely come back. How refreshing.

Food was good, but I ordered shawarma. I was expecting onions and garlic. And I ordered 1 pork and 1 beef and 1 can soda and my total was $30. I don't mind paying $30 I was just expecting mediterranian shawarma. Not beed with veggies and a wrap.

The food is great the cleanliness is not. After having eaten my food I witnessed the girl with short black hair sneeze in her hands and go straight to putting pita breads in what I assume was a takeout order.. because of so I'm not sure I'd be going again.
