The best diner in the Sunland/tujunga area. Love everything about the place the staff and owners are super cool. I've never thought of writing a review until now. They're shutting down tomorrow for good. Please find another location. Don't end it. I'm saddened by the closure. Crying now

We were remodeling a property nearby, so I placed an order through Postmates. I had never heard of the place, I chose them due to their fast delivery time. The next afternoon when I asked everyone what they wanted for lunch, they all asked for the same thing. The cheeseburgers were a huge hit as were the fries. I was told the fries were crunchy and thick, as opposed to being soggy.

Great little diner for breakfast and lunch. Huge portions that are very reasonably priced. Possibly the nicest most personable waiter I've ever met working there. Bathrooms are out back in a little bit underwhelming. Food is a little bit as well. They don't use a lot of spices when they're cooking and it could taken up a notch for flavor. But that's not a bad dig, and would happily go again.

my wife and I love coming here on our Sunday breakfast getaway, they have GREAT COFFEE, and the service is also very good. they have a few specials and they are the way to go. We have very few restaurants we frequent, this is one.

Went there for breakfast for the first time yesterday. OMG, Have I been missing out. Biscuits Gravy, and hash browns. My favorite. And they did them so well. Just great. The service? 6 STARS. Friendly and helpful. So so so very very nice. I loved the booths and the looks of Sweet Cherries-- just exactly my kind of great place to eat. Fancy? No. Perfect? YES. I will be going back. This old coot loves this restaurant.

I'm obsessed with this Diner. My family and I always order out because we have little ones and it's hard enough to sit at home to have a meal with toddlers. Usually food to go compared nothing to eating it fresh in the restaurant. BUT Cherries Diner always makes sure our food is fresh and I've never had anything come without some extra love. They offer us jelly's, ketchups, syrup, napkins and throw in anything they can to make you feel like your not just picking up some food to go. They offer us coffee to go and bring us cream and sugar to make it to your liking. The staff is always so sweet and helpful even with how busy they get, they always have costumer service down!

Love this dinky old spot! Perfect for an easy choice for breakfast or brunch. I love their eggs benedict. Other dishes weren’t terrible but didn’t blow my mind either. Both of the servers here are super nice especially the lady!! Always happy to see her when i come in.
Apparently no dogs are allowed even small puppies i had a puppy because it was not mentioned anywhere i brought her with me had to keep her in the car all the time even they didn't let her stay on my laps!!!’ Pet owners stay away but the food was really

i’ve visited this place three times. 2/3 times i’ve had a bad experience. the first time the staff was not on top of things. we (me and my father) were given no utensils and were served cold coffee. there was also an issue with the pancakes. they tasted like bacon and even had pieces of it inside. the second time everything went smoothly and customer service was great as well with the food. this last visit was not any better though. our waitress seemed very rushed and forgot our order multiple times. we didn’t think much of it because we thought they were just busy(which they weren’t). we then waited a VERY long time for our food only to find that they had gotten our order wrong and there was a HAIR embedded inside of my sandwich. when we told one of the staff they seemed angry and took the food. we ordered a different item and when we received it everything seemed well until it came to the pancakes. there was ONION and BELL PEPPER cooked INSIDE of the pancake. and to put the cherry on top, we were overcharged twice.(i did the calculation with tax and everything and it was less then what we were charged) i’ve tried giving this place hope but i won’t be coming again.
