Maybe you need a life other than standing at the front door of the The Bar anxiously waiting to buy a drink. Maybe read a book! Or learn to tell time on an analog clock! I don't know - maybe?? Very sad.

I'm not one to go to bars often, because of the rude bartenders and unwelcome stares from people. So when I say that I love coming to this bar, that means something. It's a comfortable dive bar, with a pool table and a Touch Tunes jukebox. I only like going to this place on Sunday and Monday nights when Donelle is working. Hands down the best bartender ever. She creates a super welcoming, unbiased vibe and always plays the best music. She really cares about her customers and makes great drinks. I really hope she continues to work there. It wouldn't be worth going without Donelle there.

Always a problem opening the bar on time! Except when Kenny opens on Saturday. Owners complain when criticized about opening up on time, how do you think your bartenders get paid? CUSTOMERS!
Always enjoy a local dive bar. This one has a rich history dating all the way back to the early 1900's. Loved that they had all the old school pics on the wall. The wife was a little worried about entering since there were a fee rough looking people outside near bikes. I told her not to judge a book bybits cover. We went in and had a great time. Everyone was super cool, nice, and inviting.

When away, I miss this place and many of it's patrons. Friendly/fun bartenders. Happy Hours. Good mix of age groups and backgrounds. I feel at home at the Rattler!
