This is a traditional style sushi bar. I've been eating here since the late 80's. Mamma San, Moriko, knows my basic order and drink as well as preferences of everyone in my family. The best sushi are the specials and magic happens when you let the chef know what you like then let him create a meal for you. Over time he's introduced me to new things and knows my palette. Great service, a fun time with hilarious friendly people in a neighborhood atmosphere with a Japanese flair.

The best thing about this place is not only the food, but the owners. He is the sushi chef preparing tasty dishes behind the counter and she is absolutely hilarious and the sweetest woman ever! Be prepared to not only be called "baby" but if you ever ask for a fork, she'll bring one to you that is about three feet long! You'll get a normal one of course after the laughter stops. Support this local business who saw a lot of struggle during the pandemic. It's worth your money and time!

They have been a staple to the community and if you are in the area you should definitely stop by. My new favorite sushi spot.

I have been eating at this restaurant since it first opened it's doors in 1986. Mamasan has dang near raised me. An amazing and fun atmosphere. The staff are playful and silly. The patrons are much the same. Great food! Great people! Great times!!!

Food tastes fresh and good, very authentic. The owner was kind enough to sit (4 adults) us outside to accommodate our dog. The staff were very nice and happy to work there, which we appreciate. This place deserves 5 stars across the board.

We had reservations for this restaurant, but glad we didn’t have to wait upon entering. Service was prompt and had friendly staff. Made us laugh several times.(The only thing we did not care for was the Philadelphia roll- which I expected to only have avocado, salmon and Philly cream cheese. But interestingly was made different. Also their gyoza was fried instead of steamed). My suggestion is to ask for steam instead of frying.Overall, our experience was good. Highly recommend ordering their yakisoba noodles. *The BEST yakisoba -in comparison to other restaurants.Thanks for having us and hope to someday visit again!
