“Stopped while driving to Vegas. I ordered the party melt with American cheese. They brought me one with Swiss cheese. They apologized before I could say anything and told me they were making me one with American cheese. I took a bite of the Swiss and loved it. I told them not to worry but the manager still brought out a new melt. It was delicious. Grilled purple onions and toasted perfectly. Crunchy on the outside and cheesy on the inside. Hubby got the chili dog, daughter a corn dog and my son the kids meal which filed him up. Great find and would eat there again if ever in the area.“

“I've driven by Salles many times and thought "I should try that place. They always look busy." Well I finally did and can see why. It's a diner. Usual fare. Menu has the classic diner breakfast menu with an added Portuguese twist. But what isn't as common is how clean it is. Bright, clean and open is what you see when you walk in. And a huge throwback to classic diner ambiance, the service is fantastic. Very friendly, attentive staff that keeps checking in on you. Not common these days, and very much appreciated. Food was good. Didn't get anything out of the ordinary, but did get my potatoes Portuguese style, which is a garlicky onion and tomato sauce. Was not a huge fan of the breakfast gravy, had a little too much flour taste to me. But I see why they're busy, and I'll be back too.“
“What a great surprise this was the restaurant was very clean including the restrooms that had also recently been remodeled service was fast & friendly & the food was delicious I had a double bacon burger with fries & a root beer float in the glass which was very good parking out side was plenty & easy for my bigger car as well this older part of Tulare really has some great spots to enjoy“

“A pleasant surprise! I've driven by this place many times before, but finally went in on the recommendation of a friend. The staff was very friendly and fast and our food was fresh, hot, and delicious! The restaurant is very much a "hole in the wall" but it was very clean and they cleaned up after customers very quickly. We had a variety of tacos, and I'd recommend them all!
