Haven't been here in years, so took son after Memorial Day ceremonies. He got his usual asada burrito and I got their jambalaya, because two of my friends have been telling me how good it was. Son said his burrito was good, but small and came out so hot he had to wait quite a while for it to cool. My jambalaya was good, but didn't live up to the high expectation I placed on it. Don't get me wrong, it was tasty, but it didn't have much shrimp and the asada in it was a little tough. I liked that it was served over fettuccine and had a Latin-style spin, but I've had better. The service was top notch and they had a lot of great sounding dishes on their menu, so we'll be back.
One of my favorite places to eat just delicious food!! I've ordered many things & they have all been amazing!!! Friendly staff just so yummy!!!
Great food, great drinks and awesome customer service. We got the chicken volcano. It was spicy but good. We also got the BBQ chicken quesadilla. Pretty satisfying! We went with 10 ppl and they were more than okay to move some tables around. We also went on mother's day and they were busy but accommodated us. Which we know it's such a hassle. So shout out to all of the servers there for being so kind, in such a busy day.
I hate the fact that they take upon themselves the gratuity charge (tip) on the bill! I always tip when staff is attentive, when the food is good! This is white me"Mexican" food! We were a party of 12 and each of us had our separate bill and each of us were charged the gratuity (tip) mine was almost $20! It looked like the tortillas were warmed up in the microwave and rolled up and when given they were stuck together! The chairs we were sitting on were wobbly they're expecting an accident waiting to happen! Most of our family wasn't happy with the food and service! Never again will I be or my family be visiting this place again!!!
This is white people Mexican food. I ordered a chicken salad because I figured that wouldn't be hard to mess up but the lettuce wasn't washed or something because I could taste something grainy like dirt/sand. Also the chicken had no flavor
Burritos, tacos, and volcanoes are all good
Staff is friendly food is good and not too pricy
I have to day that ots one of the most flavorful places I have been too ! We had the Baja Chicken Pasta and the Pollo Durango which I accompanied with a Raspberry Margarita.
I've complained about their ranchero salad in the past because of their chicken being too dry so I wanted to make sure to compliment them this time because their salad was amazing so thank you for a delicious meal and service!
Love the Milanese. One note though: don’t wrap it.
Been a favorite spot of ours for years. Staff and owner are friendly. Food is excellent. We haven't had anything we didn't like. Pollo Durango and the jalapeño burger are two of my favorites.
Great food. We had a group of 11 sharing a Birthday. So nice to sit together, laugh,, share food and drink in relaxed atmosphere
The food presentation was beautiful and the good was very delicious. Wonderful and friendly food servers..very attentive to our needs. 5/5 Stars
I'm all for local businesses opening back up and will happily visit as things slowly begin to open back up- but Mundo's was extremely disappointing and we will not be going back. 8 PM: We walk in to the very crowded tent and were seated immediately and our drinks, chips, and salsa came quickly. (If you are wanting to go out to dinner in a "COVID friendly environment" this place isn't it) 8:15 PM: We are now on the second bowl of chips and still no one has come to take our order and both of our drinks are empty. 8:30 PM: Someone finally comes to take our order and it is apparent that they are very overwhelmed with the amount of people that they are serving. 9:15 PM: We finally receive our food and a majority of it is cold (both of our meals). We wake up the next day and my boyfriend now has FOOD POISONING. He ordered the Volcano with chicken and shrimp. If you decided to come here keep a few things in mind- 1. They are TERRIBLY understaffed and because of this, the service is not good. We could have gotten up and left after we ate without paying and I truly believe that they would not have noticed for at least 10 minutes. 2. Be prepared to wait. This is our second time here and we've had to wait for our food both times. 3. The food is subpar at best. There are lots of other restaurants that are open and doing indoor/outdoor dining.
This is probably my favorite Mexican place in turlock currently. Great quality of food and presentation, especially considering their prices are about what you would pay at any sit down mexican restaurant. Chips and salsa and mediocre but reasonable all things considered. Outdoor seating with heaters in a patio availible as well.
