The surrounding area is not so great. The Philly cheese steak great. Grilled well. The customer service is kind and inviting. The sweet lady at the counter is always smiling which makes me smile.

super good and delicious food! i always get the Chicken Bowl but the only down one star because the price is not worth how much food there is! but still super good. nice owners every time i go, recommend to everyone to go here if new to turlock certainly is a hidden gem

Fried fast food favorite. Been going here for twenty years just for the fried mushrooms and jalapeños. Great burgers. Awesome small local family shop. The family behind the counter is so friendly.

Food was amazing, prices were reasonable, kids were happy. Lots of variety they even have some Asian inspired dishes. The AC seem to be working just fine. With the overwhelming amount of chain restaurants in the area this is a diamond in the rough. This is a good place to go if you need something a little more simple and are in the mood for an upscale restaurant. No it is not the Taj mahal, however there's nothing to complain about and there aren't any other places like this in Turlock that I'm aware of. The staff were super welcoming and warm and attentive.Kid-friendliness: It's not a fancy joint so you don't have to feel self-conscious about kids being kids. It has the vibe of one of those old school frosties (no ice cream on the menu that I'm aware of).

I've read a lot of the low rated comments on here and am SO surprised no one has mentioned the sanitation and looks of the inside of this place. Has anyone went in and looked up at the roof? It is SHOCKINGLY bad, literally falling apart and missing pieces. Also the handle to the door was sticky.. even from the outside. As soon as I walked it the smell was foul too, like old oil. The food here is usually always good but something was very off this last time, like the dressing they put on the burger has expired or something, the taste was off and had an unusual smell. The two that work there are nice but the man put our straws in our drinks for us with his bare hands which was kind of gross. I would hate to see this place go out of business but how are they not getting shut down from a health inspection? There's no way this place would pass.

The lady that works there is a professional she has been there for so many years and makes the best burgers when you're tired to McDonald's and burger king and you're from Turlock this is where you go!

1 star because I have to in order to leave a review. This place is convenient and food is good but owners wife is very unfriendly. She's never been very pleasant to deal with but over my last few experiences I feel she is beyond rude! The husband is such a nice man and food is good so I have tried several times to interact with the wife hoping it would be a better experience but after this last experience I will not be back. There is no need to yell at your customers or be so hostile over a misunderstanding!
