We had wedding party recently, the food was very bad and low quality. The kobide kebab taste was disgusting, chicken kebab was small bad and rice was uncooked. I do not recommend this place.

The venue is amazing, but when we attended a wedding and told the food would be served immediately, it took 2 hours. The food was cold and they only had about 5 servers to serve about 30 tables. This was for a very nice wedding, and I wasn't there for the food, but I felt bad for whoever paid for it all. The appetizer table had food laid on the table with no presentation, just a lot of meats and cheeses right on table clothes in an unappealing presentation. First we were told there would be no children's food, then 30 minutes after the meal was served they brought our kids food in a paper tray with very small portions.Steak was served with no steak knives. It was very thick tri-tip, some very rare. The venue and staff seemed very nice, but I felt bad for the people who paid for this.

Ailin, Angelica, and Sabrina were all very pleasant to work with and the Grand Oak is one of the best venues I have ever had the pleasure of utilizing for the event on 12/2/2022. Thank you so much for your attention to detail and The food was excellent along with the decorations as they were very beautiful. The terrace area is an extremely nice addition to the experience. Every single question was answered and it was expensive, but worth every penny. The floor plan was spacious and coordinated efficiently.

Our Wedding was 4/22/22 and it was everything we imagined and more!It was a small 50 person Wedding in the Terrace . The food was amazing! Everyone commented on the food & how beautiful everything was. It was also very reasonable. Yonan's did my flowers and they were gorgeous.

She has answered all of our questions thoroughly! She's VERY friendly and has been so patient with us. Totally recommend!

The Grand Oak is a gorgeous/modern venue! Angelica has been phenomenal to work with since we first called to get information on the Grand Oak. Angelica held the venue date for us until we were able to arrange the date with the rest of our vendors, and helped us in finding great vendors to work with for our wedding. The food tasting was also amazing! They served us multiple options to choose from, and it was hard to make a choice since they were all delicious. The chef & Angelica were very accommodating to certain diet restrictions. We are so excited to have our wedding at the Grand Oak since the staff has made this such a memorable/stress-free experience!

The place is beautiful on the inside when it's prepared for your occasion. Our daughter had her wedding and reception there. The coordinator (I don't remember her name) did a HORRIBLE job with the reception. The grooms family sat at his side during the reception and the brides family WAS to sit on the brides side while dinner and toasts were going on. BUT NO, because of the coordinator the brides family was sitting in the corner so far from the bride and grooms table it was ridiculous. We were NOT SERVED drinks or hors d' oeuvres until we flagged someone down. The next morning (today) the coordinator was suppose to meet the bride back at the Oak Grand to pick up items that would be left at the reception. The bride could not reach the coordinator. After trying repeatedly she finally call the coordinators boss. Nothing was done on the Oak Grands end but an I sorry. Not to mention the food served tasted or looked the way it did during the taste testing. A lot of money was spent on this place for one of the biggest days of our daughters wedding and reception for this kind of carelessness on the coordinators part. With a more professional wedding coordinator this would have been the prefect evening for the couple, family and friends. The wedding coordinators name is Angelica White.

My new wife and I had our wedding and reception at The Grand Oak in Turlock. This place was beautiful and perfect for us. All of our guys were pleasantly surprised by this place. The staff and food were amazing. Angelica is a true professional and we just loved her. They worked with us closely to make sure all of our details were accomplished. Along with Yonans floral, The Grand Oak made our dream wedding come true.! I would recommend The Grand Oak to anyone considering getting married.

Angelica was absolutely amazing at helping us plan out a beautiful wedding reception. So much space & every inch is completely breathtaking! If you want the perfect extravagant wedding with a lot of extra features at a decent price, this is definitely a great place to go to!

I wish I could give 0 stars. I was supposed to get married here October 25th but due to Covid I decided 3 months before that it wouldn't be a good idea. I had put my deposit down already so I messaged them telling them I couldnt have it cause of the rules of stanislaus county that there could not be large groups. They told me too bad and that I can't get my deposit back since they could still have it. Like what? How can you still have jt? I called the state and the county and they both told me it wasn't allowed. So I sent them images from the county website saying large groups aren't allowed and they told me that they won't give my deposit back til THEY HAVE TO CANCEL! They even told me when I signed my contract that if Covid was still going strong that they will give my deposit back! I was trying to be civil and nice but then another lady (she works for yonans floral but is the owner of the venues daughter) started saying I was threatening them and that she didn't want to speak to me about this issue anymore even tho my wedding contract was in my name?!? How does that even make sense! Ed (the owner) and his daughter were being so rude during this stressful time. I do not suggest this place at all. They take advantage of people.
Had our company Christmas party at the grand oak this last year. This place is amazing! It's a one stop shop when it comes to throwing events! Very clean bathrooms and amazing back patio. These past couple weeks I've been visiting their new "Terrace" at the grand oak and it is a blast! They have food and drinks served all night. This place is amazing! It is unlike other bars in Turlock. It is outside and has a great atmosphere. Great food cooked fresh and the alcohol tastes great. They even have some specialty drinks. I really enjoyed their sliders and their wings. The service is so well done I feel like I'm treated fairly and adequately while at this establishment. It has a very chill "lounge vibe" and has its nights when they have an awesome DJ.

I am SO GLAD Turlock now has a classy place for college students to go and have fun with friends! The staff is all so kind and welcoming. They were very professional when dealing with unkind guests which was a huge plus. They offer a safe, welcoming environment and do not disappoint!!!! This is my new fav place in Turlock and I will be returning!

Beautiful new venue, very clean and has wonderful state of art sound system and large TVs. Also, it has a nice extra outdoor space attached, great a for a cigar or hookah break . We hosted a fundraiser event for the Assyrian Aid Society and we were very pleased with the service we received from Ed Yonan and the management. I highly recommend it
