“My fiancé and I are visiting California from Ontario, Canada and were looking for a brewery to stop at in the afternoon for a quick bite and a beer. I found Golden Road online and it looked to be what I was looking for. It did not disappoint.This place is HUGE. There is so much indoor and outdoor seating. There are nice big windows, a beautiful bar, tvs, and just the overall feel of the place is awesome. The Mango Cart beer was honestly the best beer i've ever had. Even my usually non-beer-drinking fiancé had one. The fried avocado tacos were amazing. Our server Ryan was great. He was very friendly, especially when he found out we were fellow Ducks fans. We will definitely be back.My only complaint is that we can't take this place (or 12 cases of beer) home with us.“
“We had a brunch reservation on St. Patrick's Day. We were greeted right away with a friendly smile from the hostess and was seated right away. Our server was friendly and on top of it with the service. Our glasses were never empty which is great considering it was bottomless mimosas. The food however was not all that great. It was edible, but wish it was served a little warmer. I understand it's a buffet style brunch, but I've been to other restaurants where the food isn't cold by the time you return to your seat. I will give this place another try, but will skip the brunch and order off the regular menu.“
“Great brewery! The place is huge. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. The beer and food I tasted were delicious! The hazy was my favorite. The carnitas tacos were juicy, meaty, and great tasting. The empanadas stole the show. Crispy and delicious! The customer service was friendly and helpful from everyone we encountered. “We stopped here with our dogs after a day at the beach. Pretty good food and beer! We had the fish tacos and the fish and chips. Both were solid. The patio was perfect to sit outside and enjoy the weather and the server helped us immediately. Bartender was cool too. Try this spot!“
“Karl Strauss is 5 stars I don’t care who you are! 3 of us had dinner and drinks. Blackened Tuna tacos are big and tasty. The pub burger was a good burger. The food truck burger also good. Mac and cheese a treat. However the boneless sweet Chile garlic wing stole the show.For drinks we had the Poseidon stout - awesome smooth stout!“

“I've eaten her twice, sharing their chicken nachos with two others and enjoying a Smog City Groundworks Coffee Porter on tap. The nachos were plentiful with flavorful chicken, plenty of cheese, olives, tomatoes, jalapenos and sides of salsa, guacamole and sour cream. The tortilla chips were nice and crispy. They have a wide selection of craft beer on draft, so you'll find something for whatever your mood. The servers were also attentive both times.If you're a sports fan, the numerous large screen TVs on every wall will ensure you don't miss a play. While I visited during the Cal State Fullerton students' winter break, I could imagine the lively energy when they return. Situated in a cool part of town with brick buildings and appealing aesthetics, Fullerton Brew Co. offers not just great food and drinks but also a vibrant location to explore with plenty of nearby stores. A definite go-to spot for a relaxed and enjoyable time.Parking: I was able to park in one of two large parking lots both times, but I did have to circle a couple times to find a spot. Parking was free at the time I went, but did become a paid lot later in the evenings.“
“OUTSTANDING! From the food, the very fast and friendly service and fantastic array of beers that I had the pleasure of "sampling" many.... Their bloody-mary's are awesome as well. If you get a beer, don't forget to try the giant soft pretzel with mustard and a beer-cheese sauce. I had the Italian sandwich was fantastic and the fries were gently seasoned so you could still actually taste the potatoes! A+ all around...“
“Scored some tickets on Stub Hub and got to watch the Angels play from our seats at Brewery X. We got there a little early and checked out the bar and hung out at one of the indoor bar tops. It was nice to have this option and stay in the cool AC before the game started. The sun was bright and hot at our seats. We enjoyed some seltzers and beers and once we got to our seats we had the most delicious carnitas nachos we have ever had at the ballpark. It was a fun experience to hang out at Brewery X, have great seats and in seat dining with delicious food. Only wish I could order my favorite Zebra popcorn to my seat. It was simple enough to take a walk from our seats and visit a concession stand on club level.“
“First time coming to this location and it was very good. They have a wide selection of bbw and sliders and various beers to taste. Their smokehouse salad was delicious and I really liked their fried pickles and smoked brisket. Very juicy and tender. I also tried their sodas which are pretty cool. They have flavors like pineapple, cherry, orange hibiscus, root beer, vanilla cream soda, and lemon acai. All quite tasty. Staff is friendly and fast wit your order. I like it here and will be back soon as they also have 3 arcade machines to play. Lots of parking and this brewery is located across from Starbucks.“
“I just wanna say… THESE DAMNN NACHOS ARE SOOO DAMNN GOOD!! On December 22nd my girlfriend and I were soo hungry and couldn’t find a place to eat since everywhere else was full. We walked around and went upstairs to find this hidden gem. Not only do I still think about these nachos 3 months later but I’m actually from Canada and wish I could have them again. These nachos… my girlfriend and I have strengthened our bond between them. Try them. These nachos save lives (maybe)“
“Came here eat in and take out many times. It is a good restaurant with standard American food. People are nice and helpful. I think the traditional American food like burger and fries are pretty good. I am sure there are many good dishes but the Cajun dish is kinda disappointing. We ordered this last time to try it out, it was way too salty and doesn't seems like or taste like Cajun food. You would know what I mean if you have tried the authentic Cajun food. But overall it is a good restaurant with nice environment.“
“SUMMARY: Decent food and convenient if you are staying in the Hyatt Regency Orange County FOOD: The food took a little longer than usual to come out, but that's probably because we showed up right when it opened. Our server was super nice too. We ordered the Juan's Chicken Quesadilla and the Bao Buns. The chicken quesadilla was surprisingly packed with delicious cheese and very seasoned chicken, I was impressed. The Bao buns were silky smooth with a balanced flavor profile between the pork, sauce, and pickled jalapeños. Both portions weren't too large, but decently priced at 17 and 18 dollars, respectively. Very conveniently located bar/restaurant in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency Orange County. The atrium of this hotel is really nice so the seating area is really nice with a very open feeling. Give it a shot if you're staying in the hotel, but no need to travel to the hotel just for this food.“
