I'm giving this restaurant one star. Despite the food being excellent, I arrived at 7:45 p.m. with their posted closing time at 9 p.m., only to find they had already closed. This was frustrating, especially after a 30-minute drive. They need to update their hours to reflect their actual operating times. Very disappointing experience.

This hole-in-the-wall that’s highly recommended is well-deserved. The staff are very kind and personable, the food is abundant and delicious, also I really liked the music which is what I grew up hearing my parents enjoy My sister ordered the breakfast eggs plate with beans and rice she thoroughly enjoyed her breakfast with warm tortillas and I ordered the chicharrón in red salsa tacos they added cilantro and onion ? I asked for green chile because the extra spiciness is a plus for me! Very tasty! I only ate one of the three tacos because it was big and filling - the other two will be perfect as the chicharrón continues to marinate in the red and green salsa. I forgot to add that we bought a lb of chicharrón and it was still warm when they bagged it up… it’s great for snacks and cooking at home : Ice-T happy eating dance:What a fantastic find El Toro Bravo is ? once again, the food was delicious and the service was great - I felt at home ❤️???️Parking: It’s a small lot but the Starbucks crowd is in and out fast

OUTSTANDING! We just moved here 4 weeks ago. Stumbled onto this place. Been back 3 times, as everything is OUTSTANDING! Especially the chicken tacos! And they don’t skimp n anything!! 5 stars hands down!

I have ordered from here a few times. Very inconsistent. first time was great. Good carnitas great food all around. Second time they left out my tortillas I paid extra for. Carnitas where dry as dirt. ?

I'm so glad I checked this place out! The customer service was awesome! My grandpa got a delicious chicken quesadilla that he said he'd share with me. I asked for an enchilada, but they had run out of enchilada sauce, so I said "nevermind" and chose not to order anything. When I sat down and started eating with my grandpa, one of the workers came out and placed down a plate of enchiladas in green sauce and said it was free! They've got some amazing chefs and workers, and I definitely suggest visiting this amazing restaurant!

I'm pretty sure there were no salads on the menu.

It's very sad we spent $ and we see mold on our tortillas.. that we we need to eat and why I got carnitas. I reach I get a call and have them give me back some or all my $ back. Never eating here again unfortunately. This chips were so stale as well. Sad

El Toro Bravo is an OG when it comes to tacos and they have multiple locations but for some reason this one seems to go unnoticed. I'm not complaining because that means I can get in and get out quickly whereas in Costa Mesa I need to wait for a while just to order. They make their tortillas in house and they are thick, so their tortilla chips are also thick and not greasy - perfect for picking up more salsa or guacamole. My favorite thing about this place is you can pretty much order same day catering (tray pick-up not delivery) and the prices are reasonable. This was really helpful when my husband would call and tell me it was one of his employees birthdays and I could pull a makeshift party quickly.

Food and salsa is always pretty good just don't order the rice. We usually get the chicken by the pound and it's always cooked to perfection. This is my go to place in a pinch.
