I've never been disappointed. The food is always delicious! Comfort food that reminds me of my childhood.

Came here on a weekday for lunch with my girlfriends. Haven't been to a Lucille's in a while and don't feel the need to go back. My tri tip salad was ok, nothing special. I was expecting the tri tip to have better flavor as it was bland tasting. But what made me mad was the male waiter referring to us as sweetheart and honey, repeatedly. We are all women in our 50s and, sure, one can look at those terms as endearing. But we did not know the waiter and he was not our honey or sweetheart. It is 2024. Drop the sexiest crap.

And this is what I got today instead of the Texas-style Beef Brisket for take-out. Slices that consists of 90% fat with some meat on the sides. Overpriced, of course.

When the BBQ smells better outside than the BBQ tastes inside, you know there's a problem.. Seriously, they serve bad BBQ here; all the meat was dry and lacked any true bbq flavor. The menu states they "smoke their meats for 12 hours", well I don't know what they're doing in the kitchen but it's not real smoked bbq cooked low and slow using hardwood. We had brisket, tritip and ribs; cooking any of these the way they describe it would result in a noticeable smoke ring. There wasn't much of a smoke ring at all, this was the first clue it's not real bbq. I'm not going into more detail how real bbq cooked in an offset smoker compares to what they serve at Lucille's, if you've had authentic bbq you'll know exactly what I mean. But, all the service staff were great! Five stars for the staff! From the moment we were greeted by our host to the friendly and smiling service from our waitress, the people at Tustin Lucille's are great, no complaints there. Also the fresh warm biscuits and Cadillac margarita were delicious. If I had to go back to Lucille's, I'd consider picking up food elsewhere and sitting outside in the parking lot to take in their delicious bbq smell blowing in the breeze.

I read reviews that they had a great gluten free menu but be aware they do not have a dedicated fryer even though they have French fries on the gluten free menu. Be careful if you are highly sensitive or celiac.

The start of our brief visit was met with some very loud people in the restroom on speaker phone; not anything worth complaining to management for, they obviously can't control how guests behave in the restroom. Although it set the tone for what kind of atmosphere is there. Once we placed our order, things seemed okay. When our food arrived, all of our meals were cold, the only flavor the meat had was overwhelming smoke flavor, the mac & cheese had practically no flavor. When we finally were able to flag down our waiter to explain, he seemed surprised. When we talked to the manager, she didn't seem surprised but did offer to replace our orders or get us entirely different meals. After the experience of the first impression, we opted to not order anything and paid for our drinks and left.Wish I had read the reviews on here before going in and it was supposed to be a birthday dinner.

What a great time we had! Lucille's took wonderful care of our very large family party of 24. The food was fantastic and abundant. And we had plenty of time to eat and enjoy ours.

We hosted a post-wedding family dinner gathering for 30 on 3/23. They gave us the front room to ourselves with the most delicious food, beverages & fantastic service ever! Thank you so very, very much! Super Feast (for 30 of us) was phenomenal! Gabrielle, you're the best! A++++++++

Do not get those dried out BBQ beef ribs. We ordered them and found that the BBQ sauce was the only thing wasn't dry.

Very disappointing. Food was cold, issues with 2 of 3 meals. Vegetables were way undercooked, as were the second set. Part of one meal was incorrect, instead of bringing the correct missing piece, my friend was instructed to take the wrong food from her plate and place on an empty plate to be returned. Really, it was your mistake and she had to wait another 10 minutes for her correct order. We were never asked if we wanted refills of our drinks or dessert.

Most of the time, we order 'to go' as my family wants to enjoy the food at home. Great service. The beef ribs are good, but we noticed the ratio between meat and bones favor towards the amount of bones rather than the meat.

Had a bad experience here. I decided to give this place another try. The food was 8 out of 10. Had the 3 meat combo. Their BBQ sauce! Really good. Service was awesome. Would recommend to others.

Ordered some ribs for takeout. This place was recently rated No. 1 in Orange County? They weren't served the same meal we were. The mac & cheese was a gluey mess with little flavor, certainly not the mac and cheese I expected. The meat was dry and not tasty. Never again.

So good. Love the BBQ sandwiches and the desserts. The kids like the lollipops. Take a bottle of BBQ sauce home, it's the best!!
