last night was our first time we visited this excellent restaurant. But It is definitely not the last. We enjoyed the evening very much with the good service, with the exceptional cuisine and wine and with the honest cost. We will surely visit there again.

Our lunch experience here was one of the weirdest one. The girl at the front took a solid 10 minutes to take order for each customer. When I inquired about the veggie springrolls that they have on the menu she was clueless and even said there is meat in them. Okay... when we ordered the $4 vegetarian Vietnamese sandwich, it was bread, pickles, cucumbers, cilantro... basically, a regular sandwich sans meat. Then the boss came in and had the girl rearrange pastries with her barehand. Overall this place serves mediocre food and seriously lacks professionalism. This customer will not be back.

Maybe I came at a weird time but when I first walked in no one really greeted me. I saw the coworkers talk to each other excitedly in Vietnamese. They saw me and proceeded to walk away from the counter. -1When I finally am greeted and my order has been placed there appears to be an issue with the card machine. They asked me to check to see if I was double charged and I was and asked me to call my bank. This was a bit of a hassle for me and took my time especially since I was just trying to swing by here on my work break. -1I ordered the sunny side egg bahn mi and a bag of coffee cookies to go. And I have to say the food is this place's saving grace. My bahni was super flavorful and I love, love how spicy it was. The coffee cookies are super yummy and perfect with a cup of black coffee. +5I think I will give this place another shot. Maybe I'll come in next time with cash to play it safe. They could use some work with the customer service. I think if at least that is addressed and they continue making tasty food, I can easily see myself changing my review to a 5.

Hm, it's 4p and no sandwiches (shrug) it's 4p on Saturday and they have no french bread so maybe that's not so good for business

I would honestly stay away... the customer service is lacking, and the food I purchased was stale. It's also overpriced for the low quality food you receive. The fact that I was the only customer in there in the afternoon should have been a warning sign to not buy anything. I had to toss my food in the rubbish bin after having one bite of my stale pastry... anyhow, you have been warned. I, personally, would never come here again.

Stay away..that's all I can say. What a waste of $$ and food. Shame on them for selling stale food. I should have known something's up when it's 12 pm on a weekday and there was nobody in the place besides me. Customer service was friendly but pushy. I wanted to look at the offerings, and the lady that helped me keep telling me what I should get. Even though she was nice, it's annoying and distracting. I purchased 3 items: a mini mocha caramel cake, paris brest and a jamon buerre sandwich (cold sandwich). Received 10% coupon.Mini mocha caramel cake: Edge of cake was hard, and the gelatin on top is hard an rubbery. I'm pretty sure the cake has been in the fridge for awhile. There's a tangy taste which can be part of the cake, but I don't want to risk it, so go to the trash it went after 1 bite. Paris brest: I was so excited to eat this, but the outside was hard and stale, and the cream inside has hardened also. So disappointing. Went inside trash again after 1 bite. Pretty sure it was in the fridge for a long time also. Jamon buerre sandwich: The baguette was the only thing that's good. It was crunchy outside and soft inside, and is a real baguette (not asian baguette). Butter was good but there was only a little. Ham is miniscule and also the veggies (only small pickles and very little lettuce). All in all, what a waste of time and $ to go to this place. I hate wasting food also, especially desserts, but they were inedible. Never come back!

Sad to even write this post but I must help my fellow yelpers! In all honesty, don't bother coming here. I've should've known something was not good when it was lunch time & I was the only customer coming in. Customer service is lacking but place was clean I ordered the special aka dac biet & grilled pork aka thit nuong banh mi for $10.. Price wise...expensive IMO but I am not in Bolsa (the Vietnamese mecca of deliciousness for CHEAP) Taste... I rather starve. The baguette was dry & hard as a rock! I should've known better not eat it as the meat had a smell to it especially the grilled pork. It smelled spoiled. Gave it a go & after one bite, had to spit it out & was immediately tossed. I am so disappointed bc I was really happy to see more Vietnamese banh mi businesses growing in the area but can't find myself supporting this one. Next time, I'll go down the street to THH..

I tried this place before with my friend and I am addicted since then. I loved the awesome character and fresh dishes and beverages. Keep it up.

This is probably the worst place ever. Came to buy 2 milk teas and I asked for one without ice. Just because that one had no ice they told me they couldn't fill the cup all they way! Wow !!!! So in order for me to get a full cup of milk tea that I paid for, it had to have ICE! Ridiculous. Was looking at their pastries and they all had fruit flies everywhere ! Very disgusting . Will never come back to give these people my money! If I could I would give no stars.!! Take a look at my picture . Literally selling you ice !

I was between a 3 and 4 star review, but rounded up because I see potential. I ordered a banh mi sandwich with egg, which is not my usual- chicken is my typical go-to. The prices were super reasonable but I definitely could've used some more egg on my sandwich; what I had was pretty thin, so the texture wasn't amazing. But the pickled veggies were great and they were generous with the jalapeño, and the bread was crispy and not chewy, which are major pluses. So while I probably wouldn't order this particular sandwich again, I'll be back.

We got a banh mi here because nowhere else was open on the weekend that had banh mi. It was literally a-ok - exactly as the 3-stars imply. The bakery seems to be run by the owners. Don't have high expectations if you come here for the banh mi. It looks like a decent bakery otherwise.

Nice clean new place. The service was good, but slow. For a large place, only two people working. I can't imagine how they can keep up during core lunch hours if they had a lot of customers. The special Banh Mi (dac biet) is not bad. Good flavor. The pate had flavor to it with fresh vegetables. Better than THH down the street. The grill pork, on the other hand, was not good. THH is better. The grill pork lacks flavor while at the same time very salty. Maybe if they do a mayo and hoisin sauce spread, that will add a bit of sweetness and could enhance the flavor a bit. The baguette itself in both the sandwiches, ok. One was a bit chewy, the other was fine. Would be better if the toast it a bit.

I really like the food and the restaurant. I had the pork vietnamese style sub. Very yummy. Highly recommend.
