I called a few days in advance to clarify that the promotional gift cards I had received would be able to be combined. I spoke with Jensen - the restaurant manager and he assured me I could!Friday we made a 5oclock reservation and had an amazing dinner! They have happy hour from 3-7pm Monday through Saturday (amazing food & drinks) if I could give this place 10 stars I would! We will definitely be coming back again! Our server Kenzie ( MacKenzie) was awesome also! Super happy & pleasant! Great food and drink recommendations she gave us! Thank you both! Jensen & Kenzie are the reason RA Tustin will continue to have my business! Even if I am driving here all the way from Palos Verdes! This is said without any exaggeration whatsoever: Our table of 5 had the absolute worst service I've seen in years. They wasted an hour of our time with their horrendous service.

We've been enjoying Ra for several years. The Food quality and pricing remains very good. Noticeable decline in service. They do not have enough kitchen or wait staff help. Waiting 45 for food and another 30 minutes for our check after requesting it. No bueno

Went in was seated and our server was Amy she has such an amazing personality and very attentive. We tried the chefs choice sushi it was amazing. The chef was antonio/ Tony he so friendly and nice. Then we asked opinions and suggestions about the menu from mathew. What we had was amazing thank you again to everyone. That is why I made sure to get everyone's name who assisted us.

Our first visit! Ordered sashimi bento w/ chicken katsu along with sushi w/sashimi. Green tea was luke warm and we asked for warming them. Our server brought us the newly brewed!? Food quality was just okay. Surprised to see the fried rice on the menu in a Japanese restaurant!

It's a nice place. The menu is extensive so it was difficult to choose foods. The lack of photographs on these mediocre rolls made it challenging. There seems to be lots of cream cheese in everything. Also was disappointed by some unique items that weren't truthfully represented, as noted below. They also tried some fancy digital-only machine for payment that just made things more confusing. But the server was great. Would come back for a casual meal.This is what we ordered:- ADULTS ONLY ROLL: "served on a flaming hot plate". It was served on regular cold plate (and I did ask the server if the plate was hot).- SMOKY SALMON ROLL: looked like baked salmon to me, and did not taste any smokiness- EDAMAME: alright- LOBSTER SPRING ROLLS: decent, too much cream cheese

Super fresh sushi and sashimi, good sized portions unlike other sushi restaurants and service was excellent. Plus prices are super reasonable for the quality and portions you get. BTW, they also have a gluten free menu which is great! :)

It is Monday, 2/19 and I've been waiting to use my birthday certificate and only found out there only two sit down RA Sushi Restaurants left in LA/OC. I sat down about 2:05pm. Didn't get served my appetizer (which was initially wrong order and they had to re-do) until 2:50pm. Then in 5 minutes got my main course. An Asian male patron with his wife and kid asked me if I was waiting for my food for a long time too. I said yeah like 50 minutes! He said yeah I'm not coming back here. I agreed. I can hear in the distance two Caucasian female patrons say how great the service was to my same waiter (Tyler). Make that make sense. I never was asked by my waiter for anything or got more water. The manager walked by 10 times. This place truly disappointed and I drove 30 minutes just to be here. They don't give you anything for your birthday either just the certificate you get in the email. It was not worth driving in the rain for.

I used to go to this place at least once a week, too my company there also friends not any longer. Last time I was there they didn’t disclose to us about menu price change. We ordered what we saw on the menu then we got the bill and saw completely different prices. I asked the waitress she replied SORRY OUR MENU PRICES HAS CHANGED. We asked why we didn’t get the updated menu???? The rude waitress didn’t seem to care then we asked for the manager so he was able to make few adjustments to our bill but didn’t seem happy to do that. Unbelievable. Appearently, they expected us to pay the higher price without providing us with the updated menu????I never went back there ever since

Food was great and pretty fairly priced. We got 3 rolls and an appetizer for only around $60! Service was inattentive and I would've dismissed this if it was busy, but it really wasn't. Would've been a five star experience had they just simply checked on us without me having to wave them down
