We got 4 items from the menu. The beef roll was delicious, very crunchy, and filled with sweet hoisin sauce & beef. Just a perfect balance of everything! We also got the original Xiao Long Bao (6 pcs) for $8. The skin was thin and had lots of broth inside.Next, is the pig ear salad with chili oil. The sauce is sooo good, definitely try it if your like pig ear. The portion is pretty generous as well!Lastly is the pan-fried dumplings which have a thicker wrapper style that gives a nice bouncy bite to it. Surprisingly when you bite the dumplings there’re tons of juicy broth inside. All in all, we’ll come back soon because it’s just that good!Follow @hangrytrails.us on Instagram for more SoCal foods ?️

How come it’s so good. You can’t reserve a spot on Yelp tho. We waited ~40min for a Saturday night 7:30pm

The taste of the dumplings was superior to many of the more “esteemed” dumpling places. I appreciated the beef roll having never tried it before. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be having a good time enjoying good food. I would recommend visiting.

Very crowded on Sundays for lunch. If you want to come here for lunch on Sunday, get here by 11am or expect to wait an hour.Kid-friendliness: High chair

As good as Ding Tai Fung but less expensive. Small location so always a line. We usually get the same 4-5 items but it’s all good.

Ordered a killer combo of cucumber salad, beef roll, gyudon (Japanese beef rice bowl), and tomato prime beef noodle soup. There were great portion sizes per price, and the taste was delicious. They provided phenomenal service during a Saturday dinner hour, despite a full house and many takeout bags in the back. Mr. Jeffrey was an extravagant serviceman to us, thank you Jeffrey and Seven Grams!

Excellent XLB, wonton, noodles. Quick and efficient service (weekday lunch). A nice alternative to Din Tai Fung without compromising quality and without the wait.
