I just had one of the most impressive experience at this Starbucks! I came in and just needed a water. Sometimes you simply feel parched and only H2O will do the trick. The girl who helped me was Rachel and her customer service is top-notch. As she handed me my water I asked her what her favorite drink was. She said that she had been taking cold brew, then steaming it with some cream and brown sugar syrup flavor… I mean, whaaaaa?! Taking a cold brew and steaming caused my brain to malfunction. I told her that it sounded awesome and she encouraged me to try it sometime. I fully intended to ask for it on my next visit. I got to work on my iPad, and minutes later, Rachel calls me over. “Here, I made you a drink,” she said. Lo and behold, it was that cool concoction she was describing! I was so taken aback by her generosity and customer service. Frankly, I had never had that happen to me at a Starbucks. She reminded me of that special customer service you sometimes experience at a small, family-owned cafe where the owner goes out of their way to make you feel like a VIP customer. Truly, Rachel making me that drink shocked me enough that it inspired this review! I have been to COUNTLESS Starbucks locations but this event took customer service to another level. Thanks Rachel, your secret menu drink was the best thing I had tried all month! And thanks to Kelsey for being the manager of a great location. Rachel, this drink needs a name!

Conveniently located near the 55 FWY on Newport Ave & Edinger Ave with drive-thru and plenty of parking, next to SubWay.We stopped here this Friday evening. I was surprised at the customer service from the barista working the drive-thru window... it's always an awkward moment being handed your cup of coffee without a "hello", "thank you," or any type of greeting (not a typical Starbucks service). Our coffee, however, tasted great.Other than the poor customer service, this is a good location.

Extremely efficient staff, serving both in-store and drive thru customers. Love the pleasant and friendly attitude. Food and coffee are great!
I've been coming to Starbucks since the 90s I often am here 2 to 3x a week. The lack of someone who actually cares for you as a customer has gone down hill. I don't need to know when your short staffed, I was told my coffee could take 25

three times I've had to cancel my mobile order because I waited for 30 to 45 minutes. I asked if this is a regular thing and the MOD told me sometimes it gets busy but yet I noticed other customers get their drinks before mine and they just walked in and ordered. Defeats the whole purpose of ordering ahead. this is ridiculous.

Long drive through lines.. took us about 25 mins to get through...
This location is stresses me out.I've waited in the drive thru for half an hour and had to pull out because I spent my entire lunch break waiting to order a drink that I never got to order.I'm not sure if they're short staffed or extra busy since being so close to the freeway but it's ridiculous.I've gone in a few times since and honestly none of the staff acknowledges you in any type of way. They're busy which is understandable but at least welcome people in, it's the most basic gesture in customer service industry. If I wrote this review last week I would've given one star but I went in a few days ago and there was a kind barista by the name of Richard. I just had a quick mobile order to pick up and there were multiple people from the staff who didn't even look up to acknowledge me. From behind them I heard a voice in the background asking if I had a mobile order. I was so surprised but in such a great way. Richard was clearly busy and was taking care of a few things from what I saw but he just made the most simple gesture and it meant a lot and made a difference. This man needs a raise or needs to be upped to management because I truly think he can teach that staff at this location a few things. Richard, thank you again for being such a great barista.
