Excellent wine, great small town environment, the host is the friendliest woman I've ever met, and the price is right... Highly recommend this place to anybody visiting Twain Harte

What a great find. My wife and I were visiting and the owner was very familiar with the local wines. During the wine pairing taste, she identified 3 bottles I could not leave without. She knew her stuff and if you told her a starting point, she was able to showcase what the area had to offer. If you got time, I highly encourage you to visit.

Love, love this place.

Purchased their Chardonnay at a store in Big Pine, CA. Was seriously underwhelmed. There was no finish and the flavor was.. flat. Not appealing at all. Later, hoping for better, I purchased their Mt. Whitney White while in Bishop, CA. It was so bad, I dumped the bottle. The bottle wasn't off. The flavor, texture and finish were just bad. We were hoping to purchase products from a small, "local" winery but are sorely disappointed. 2 stars because it could maybe be good for cooking?

This place is awesome. Came in from out of town for weekend and wondered into this little shop. It was great! Very inviting and super generous with the pours! Also loved all the stories Rebecca told us about the wine. A must do if you are in Twain Harte.

My other half and I have been coming here since we bought a second home in the area in 2021. Coming here feels like the wine bar equivalent of 'Cheers,' as we are always greeted by the owner Rebecca as old friends. Like many others, we keep our own 'liquid therapy' wineglasses there and she brings those exact glasses out each time we walk in. I love the histories she provides on each wine she pours, and the reasonable prices really cannot be beat. We live mainly in Central CA coast (amongst literally hundreds of wineries--so basically we have wine more than blood coursing through our veins), and we have yet to taste a wine here that we didn't love. One of my favorites is a Prosecco, but there's also a lovely dark red blend and a Zinfandel. We love saying hello to Abbey (the winery dog) and seeing all the decorative items she sells in her store. I recently came in shortly before Twain Harte's annual Christmas parade...Rebecca stayed open late so her customers could gather there for some local cheer and then literally walk right out the front door to view the start of the parade. We will keep coming back, as this is one of our favorite stops in our second hometown.

Visiting the Twain Harte area and enjoy wine and meeting new people? This is the place for you! It's a small, cozy wine shop with quirky, (mostly) wine related items to purchase while you enjoy a tasting or glass (or two...or three...) of wine. The wine is mostly (if not all) local and there's plenty to taste (whites + reds). It's not the highest quality wine but your host, Rebecca, will ensure she finds something you'll like. Just keep drinking, you'll find something ;-) It's very dog-friendly and there's usually a small crowd of regulars during happy hour (3-5ish) that are always up for making new friends. There's a small, outdoor patio space if you want to sit outside. Tastings / glasses are reasonably priced ($5) and bottles cost $20-40. Have fun!
