I forgot how much we love this restaurant. It's been in Twain Harte for years and still has a hearty varied menu. Great food and friendly service at a reasonable price. The chef makes his own sausage, too! The atmosphere is simple and clean. A real mountain experience you must try. I know we'll be back again.

A small cafe out in Twain hate and every moment spent here was absolutely wonderful! The waitress wasted no time in serving us drinks and coffee, the food was out in record time, and was constantly attended to. For this little mountain town it's a must come in the morning if you need a place to stop on your way up in the mountains. Pull off to the side and visit Twain harte

For the restaurant owner: You need to hire more people. Waitress says there are only 3 of them. So they are unable to handle the load.Plus the servers need to be polite and attend the tables in a better way. Cant expect to wait for a table just to get a cinammon roll ? ( could have been a takeout)

Fantastic place to eat breakfast. Beverly and Chris are awesome.
The food is great! But, the parking is terrible and limited, making it difficult for people like my partner, who is wheelchair bound for life, to make it in and out of the restaurant. The restaurant itself is very small and it's common to have to wait for a table, especially for breakfast. Also, it's a little bit too expensive in my opinion. Regardless, the food is good, but overpriced.

went on Labor day, waited 45 minutes for french toast and their specialty sausage. Would NOT recommend their sausage, tasted like a ground meat with no flavor, couldn't eat it and I am not a picky eater. They charged us $5.75 each for their one sausage patty!

Great place for food. We have stopped there in both summer and winter when vacationing/ camping at Pinecrest or going to the snow park at Leland Meadows. It can be very busy on the weekends so there may be a wait.Parking: There is parking in front for maybe 6 or 8 cars. Otherwise you have to park on a side street
