“We’ve never been to 29 Palms before, so stumbled on this restaurant. Based on the exterior, we didn’t have high expectations for great food but were hungry so thought we’d give it a try. My husband and I were blown away with the incredible food! The hummus was home made (not generally a huge fan, but had to try) and it was SO good. I had the chicken curry and it was some of the best I’ve ever had! My husband had salmon and really enjoyed it. This is a family run business and the customer service was amazing! If we lived near by, it would be one of my “go to’s” for sure.“
“Enjoyed the bar, nice atmosphere and friendly service.Heads up though: it's cash only. I used my ATM card which I haven't used in several months to pull out cash from the ATM in the bar. Two days later, a bunch of fraudulent charges started showing up on the card from Michigan.I can't be certain since I was only visiting Joshua Tree for the weekend so can't return to the bar, but it seems likely that there was a skimmer on the ATM.“
“We stopped across the road and this bar was so convenient. Before and after dinner at the KITD we were well looked after and entertained by the staff and locals. It was by far the most friendly place we visited on our three week trip. The cocktails were excellent and the shots generous. We would love to go back sometime.“
