I do not recommend this restaurant. I only went there two times with a really good friend of mine and the first time that I went I had really bad food poisoning. I was very sick for about a week. I had to go to my primary care and be seen due to getting the food poisoning and then the next time I went there to the restaurant with my friend I ordered something else because I originally got sick with the burger, and I tried to tell the waitress about what happened and to please make sure that they look at the quality of their food to prevent that for anyone else she told me that the next time I come in, I could have a burger and fries on the house and to call her so I called her then all of a sudden she said I had to talk with her manager so I did try to call the management there. I left a message and it’s been over a month and I never received a call back so I guess that means that This restaurant does not care about customers getting food poisoning. The last time I went there is my last visit at all? I would never return somewhere that does not care about the customers and lies and says I’ll do something and then don’t and the manager never called me back so they obviously don’t care . I will take my business elsewhere.

I think the white lady in her 50's-60'swho is a server enjoyed using the "F" word. While I was seating at the counter I heard her use it more than once. I stopped going there 7 yrs ago. I made Peter the owners son aware of her great use of the English language. My suggestion is to go to Elios in San Leandro better food, and much better service.

Great diner experience with cool looking red booths. The service was very friendly and the food was really tasty. Had biscuits and gravy, then for dessert shared a waffle with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Yummy! We didn’t have to wait long for a table either. I highly recommend it!

Stoped in on a Friday evening for dinner. Greeted and seated immediately. Order taken and didn’t take long for food to come out. Wife had fried chicken and said it was great. Her salad was also fresh and baked potato was good. I had a bacon cheeseburger that was excellent along with some great onion rings! Service here was awesome! No less than 4 different people checked on us to make sure everything was ok, it felt like a good team taking care of customers, I was impressed. I highly recommend Baldie’s Cafe!
