They have simple menu and lot of drinks to choose from. The service is good. The restaurant is small, but it looks very clean. I really like the fried chicken plate.

Do you like chicken? How about pho? If so, this place is right up your alley! This seems like a newer location of a branch originally based in San Leandro (which I've never been to). It's in the same strip mall as a bunch of Asian restaurants and Marina Foods, so you have no shortage of options. However, I recommend coming here for these reasons: 1. Everything looks super new and clean! The decor, bathroom, and tables were all sparkling. I normally don't mind more cluttered hole in the wall type places but the clean interiors made me feel calm as soon as I walked in. 2. Note that they only serve chicken dishes. Which is fine, because I love chicken. I got the #1 dish which consists of steamed chicken in a big bowl of pho with all the usual toppings. It also came with a delicious ginger scallion concoction which was flavorful and generous. The chicken was piping hot and fresh, and the noodles and soup were nice complements to it. 3. Service was great! They speak both Mandarin and Cantonese so if you want to order in one of those languages, you can (of course English works too). No wait, and while the restaurant is small, like I mentioned above everything is nice and orderly so there's no chaos. Very nice environment to enjoy a warm meal in, especially on a cold day. I'm coming back to try their plethora of drinks! (What's available: Vietnamese coffee, Thai tea, soy milk, various unique sodas)

Chicken pho isn't only for sick or rainy days, but man does it hit better when it is. This cure-all soup is not only soothing, but incredibly rich in flavor from the simmered clear broth, garnished with scallions, cilantro, and a variety of herbs that you can add. There are different noodle options and I go for the go fun noodles which are bouncy and filling. Each bowl is generously filled with cuts of bone-in chicken. The side of ginger scallion oil that's included is so addicting and you'll want to add it to each bite of chicken, along with the jar of chili oil that's at each table. I also ordered the fried chicken quarter which comes out piping hot out the fryer and fills the room with this amazing smell. Even after a huge bowl of soup, the golden crispiness of the fried chicken was irresistible to not take a bite of. This comes with a side of sweet and sour sauce. This is Pho Ga 88's second location and the quality and taste is consistent to their first location in San Leandro. Service is quick and friendly too.

The service is great and now with a location in UC you don't have to go all the way to San Leandro for the original location. Their noodles are great and they have a variety of chicken dishes. Frid chicken or just regular chicken with either noodle or rice. They also have a variety of noodles from wide to flat. The customer service is great as they are friendly and make great recommendations. The location has been remodeled and spacious seating. Great place for lunch.

All in all by far the best pho ga I've ever had. It feels like a new category for pho because the others haven't ever had the whole package of clean delicious service. Trilingual and great service and atmosphere.

The food was fire in my standards! The service was a 10/10 the lady was by herself since it was late but still was super attentive. The actual restaurant itself super cute and really clean! The pho spots I go to regularly are bad compared to this one. Side note: the pho is chicken only but it's a good thing because I love chicken!

A great lunch spot. Quick service & food was out within 10 mins. The rice dish was amazing - authentic. The pho was alright- we didn't enjoy as much as the rice dish because you kind of lose the chicken flavor in the soup.

The chicken and the broth were great. They had iced tea as complimentary. Food still tastes great after brought it home.

Fast service, a good value for the price, and doesn't try to be anything except fast-pho. Just what I needed on a cold rainy day.

On the hunt for some good Pho Ga around this area, so I was stoked to see a restaurant had Pho Ga in its name. Peep my video for a look on the inside. This small restaurant had about 8 tables. We were seated immediately on the side for a table of two. Appreciated the chicken frames of art on the wall and yellow paint job - it's giving that yellow steamed chicken color. I see the vision. Pho Ga AF. Our table came with the essentials: spoons, chopsticks, sriracha (a competing orange-capped brand on the table but original green caps on the wall), hoisin, and fish sauce. Super impressed they had the mini Viet Huong Three Crabs brand. ------------------------------------------------- #13 HOUSE EGGROLLS --- Can't go wrong with eggrolls as an appetizer. You get 4 in each order. It's complimented with chili sauce for dipping. #1 PHO GA (w/ EGG NOODLES) --- The green onion and ginger garnish it came with was a game changer. I had high hopes since this restaurant is themed around this dish. The first few bites and sips were fine, but halfway through the broth just got saltier and fishier. I mainly focused on the noodles and chicken for the rest of the meal but the aftertaste stayed in my mouth no matter how much water I drank to try to clean my palate. #9 WONTON NOODLES (w/ EGG NOODLES) This was probably the best amongst the two soup dishes we tried. It wasn't as fishy and salty as #1 and the wontons were the right amount of flavor. I hope to try out the other chicken dishes next time around. Maybe even shoot my shot with the Pho Ga another time since they're a new shop.

The Pho Ga was what I expected, service was great, shop was small but wasn't busy when I went. I would recommend if you like Pho Ga.

New location, same flavor. Very tasty and comes out of the kitchen steaming hot. Great spot to enjoy dinner with this crazy Pineapple Express weather. I'm a regular at their first location when I want to get some good shopping done at 88 Market next door. This location makes it much better if you live in Union City area!

The Boneless Pho Ga was fire - I chose ho-fun flat noodles which were yummy. The broth was flavorful - check Noodle to meat ratio was satisfactory - check Good amount of cilantro and green onions - check Definitely will be ordering pho ga from here again can't speak for anything else.
