Everywhere around the block was closing and they won't let us in but I'm glad Golden Bay Seafood employees were so nice and kind and let us in before they closed! The food and the service was honestly better than we expected and the serving was more than we expected as well! Would really recommend coming here! Will come back again in the future for sure!

The food here is very delicious and service is exceptional. I really like that the customer service is very attentive and prompt. We had the scallop and egg fried rice and the chicken wings. Highly recommend this place for dim sum or getting chinese food!

Fairly authentic dim sum and Cantonese cuisine. Pricing is fair for lunch. Recommend steamed spareribs with rice noodle.

I thought that this place was really good! The servers and other staff members were really attentive and helped get everything out super fast. The food was also good and fair priced for the type of quality it is. We also got free snacks and end of meal food so overall I would highly recommend this place to people looking for chinese food/seafood. 10/10

New ownership, management and delirious food! This is my second time this week coming back to grand Golden Bay seafood. We had king crab banquet it is so fresh even taste it sea water . Definitely is the best seafood restaurant in East Bay. Strongly recommend it, price is very reasonable with excellent service.

One of the worst places I've been to...I'm not here to bash any restaurants but to have your guests wait for so long, then when seated, just continue to be ignored by the servers. We were trying to call them numerous times, we ordered 1 dish when they gave us water after about 15 minutes, the order never came, we waited for about 30 minutes for no service/bad service. #dissapointed #willgoelsewhere #badservice Grand Golden Bay Seafood

I took my mom to this restaurant on Mother's Day. My mom ordered chicken with salty fish and tofu pot and the dish came with all tofu with a little chicken meat sprinkled on the top as decoration. The service was horrible. Although there were only about 4 tables the waiter still ignored us almost the whole time and was not patient. But guess what I can't choose how much tip I can leave. The tip is fixed on my bill. I can't change it. Since when is tip mandatory at a fix rate? This place really suck. I don't recommend it to anyone at all. The other dish we ordered was horrible too. I had to go home and eat instant noodle to be full.

Came here to order a catering. Menu have a lot of variety and the waiter is so helpful in the tray sizes etc. They also offer delivery for catering. Overall, great first impression!

Went to the happy lamb hot pot and saw the soft opening sign for this restaurant. This place is newly open for a month, the food is little better than before. Should try if you are in the area. Their baked bbq pork bun is pretty good and not too expensive.

It has recently reopened under new management. The food definitely got better. I have done the 1 dinner and 2 dim sum. For Dim Sum, all the shrimp dishes are good. The Clustered Pineapple Bun is very good also the ChaChu Pineapple Bun is very good too. Their Egg roll is great but a little salty, the Fried Toro puff is excellent. The weekend traffic is getting busy, I definitely recommend go there at 1030 when they open. Or just go on weekdays lunch time, that's when they are least busy and they have the same food with same price or actually I think they run special on weekdays lunch and dinner. Can't be sure. The Service is good when they are not too busy. and since it is new management I think you will want to keep a close eyes on your order (they will print the order result and you should take a quick look before they walk away), just in case they put it in correct. and also check the order when they are here. Especially the buns, they look very similar but the inside fillings are different. Overall, I love it and my mom, the food critic, like it too. The price is very reasonable given current economic environment. Definitely will go back again and again.

It's been a long time since we've been invited to a Chinese or Vietnamese event and I love these 10 course banquets. It's too much to order for our family but perfect when shared with a table of 10. Cantonese style Banquet is 4 stars all day long and we'll be back to order them as individual dishes. Supper happy our hosts did not choose the normal "cold meat" platter and I liked some of the unique dishes they chose Some of the standouts are: -Fried Quail: Tastes like a cross between a chicken and a duck, fried perfectly and went great with the salt and white pepper they provide for dipping. -Lobster: Can't beat the taste of fresh lobster and it's neatly splayed out so you don't have to crack the shell. If you are careful with your chopsticks you don't have to touch it and get the sauce on your hands. -Poached Chicken: It's frighteningly red near the bone but this is their cooking style and it tasted great. Loved the dipping sauce it came with. They were short-staffed and our party of 60 came 30 minutes early so it did take a long time for the food. Service isn't great and some of the utensils and pitchers are beat-up but this is the old-gen. style that is part of the experience.
