Jim's Cocktail Lounge is a great friendly bar. All the people are like family everyone's cool no drama and the drinks are cheaper than any bar in the area. I love this place, you can play darts, play pool, karaoke Friday and Saturday night come in and have a drink and you'll see what I mean. Ez money

I'm trying to make friends so I've been frequenting bars and restaurants in the surrounding areas as I am very new here. This place is like Cheers where everybody knows your name. Except for mine. I wasn't treated like the regulars there so I felt out of place (starred down) the whole time I was drinking there. Nevertheless I got a good buzz on, so I'm willing to try it again. The bartender, i didn't get their name was nice enough and got me toasty. It's very old school just a heads up if your wanting to impress a date with nice ambiance I would not recommend Jim's. It's pretty much an hole in the wall packed with everyday people. I'm looking for a place where I can belong too but once again, tough crowd. The great news was my bill was very inexpensive so there's that. Which left me enough money to get some really good seafood around the corner recommended by a regular.

One of the few bars I go to around here. Very friendly customers and employees..the owner and her husband are fantastic people, and the drinks are great. Definitely recommend for a local bar type experience.
