I ordered a Party Tray of Spam Musubi in person. Small tray of 20 full slice musubi's which I then requested it to be cut in half to make a total of 40pc Half Musubi's. Came out to be around $58-59 w/ tax. Put in the order 1 day prior to pick up with a scheduled time of 2:00pm. The Tray was ready and on time and still hot upon pick up! In regard to the Service, it was pretty straight forward. The Cashier spoke basic english but help out the best way he can. To others, it may come up as rude but I truly think it is mainly a bit of the Language barrier. Overall, Service was good and have been coming to this spot for many years! Would recommend coming to this restaurant if you are craving a satisfying Hawaiian bbq plate.

This is one of the best “fast food” chains offering Hawaiian BBQ on the mainland. There are quite a few in the area, but this is my favorite and is the only one I know that is actually rooted in Hawaii.The Kal Bi, BBQ chicken and Kalua pork plate lunches are my favorite. They also have lau lau, saimin, musubi (SPAM, Portuguese sausage and other variants), loco moco, and other island favorites along with actual Hawaiian canned drinks, which you normally can only find in Hawaii.It’s a little piece of Hawaii right here, conveniently located near the Union City BART station and the major intersection of Decoto Road and Alvarado-Niles Blvd.Vegetarian options: Not sure what’s you want to go to a BBQ place for vegetarian, but they do have some meatless options. Also Keto style carb free options.Parking: Huge parking lot and walking distance (just across the street) fro the Union City BART station.

If you wanted a quick meal, you can order online and have your food picked up at this place. They offer a variety of Hawaiian BBQs whether it's chicken or beef. My favorite is their chicken Katsu. This meal is huge and can feed more than one person The chicken katsu is crunchy and tender inside. This place is like ordering from fast food and will not satisfy your taste for delicate food But will satisfy your hunger.
I was craving Hawaiian food and was nearby this area, so I stopped by L&L. I have never been to any of their chains before because I usually go to Ono and I had a feeling I should drive a bit further for Ono, but I decided to give them a chance. They are faster and the food is slightly cheaper, but the food does not taste as fresh and satisfying. The BBQ short ribs were just okay compared to other spots and tasted a bit greasy/oily.

Got food poisoning from this place! Ordered beef rice plate and kahlua pork for my wife. We both went to Emergency room & they confirmed it was L&L that gave us food poisoning! This place needs to take precautions on what they are serving to customers! They half cook big batches of meat and leave it out all day then when it's time to order all they have to do is warm it up. That is truly disgusting! Never coming back here again

Do not order orange chicken its over prices ,burnt,chucks of fat , brown and green onions stuff on bottom of box. Not orange chicken. Trash! dog wouldn't even eat it,I guess the price of lettuces most be high for l&l .there was one thin peice. No sauce on burger.Burnt dry out fish sandwich. Cashier and cook yelling at each other .cashier very poor service.2 stars is pushing it .will not be returning.

Maybe they don’t know or understand customer service!Young lady taking orders is mean and bad attitude and tries overcharging. They don’t let you use the restroom if it’s take out!!Maybe some day they’ll begin reading their ratings and get it together.
