OK I’m a fair guy, there’s nothing to this. It’s way too overpriced, the fries are always cold, you have to buy everything separately, and I just don’t get why everyone loves this place. The two star is generous IMO. If I helped you decide, please like my review!

Im an employee on citywalk. Id go often before hoping eachtime for a dufferejt outcone but the chicken is always cold, popcorn chicken is always stale and EXTREMELY overpriced even for a tourist location

I love Smashburger. Their mushroom swiss burger is to die for. I wish that they never closed the Pasadena location though. I mean if you don't mind the inconvenience of paying for parking here at Universal then it's all good. Also at this location they didn't have the garlic Brussel sprouts. I want my garlic Brussel sprouts God dammit(shaking my fist).

I go to this nice place many times a year! This is the best place to dine. I visit this place regularly. The cooking is excellent, the staff is professional and the payment is fair. I like meeting in this spot for a good lunch.

terrible experience!!! came in Friday night and the manager is leaning against the back counter, totally sloppy. I ordered 2 bacon burgers and a drink. first red flag... they have no ice and no lids. great start. get the first burger and the bacon is raw. not undercooked. its RAW!!! fine have themncook the bacon. second burger totally raw bacon. this is is lazy and disgusting intake all the food back to the sloppy lady manager and she tells mento throw it in the trash... OK? really? you dont even want to see it? fine just refund me. she only offers to refund one if the burgers. keep in mind I didn't eat either. she tells me to show her the other burger now... ITS IN THE TRASH!!! sorry I'm not digging through your trash. so rude and uncaring. if you hate your job so much go do something else. I imagine rent at Universal Walk is extreme but to put your business in the hands of someone like this Is a shame. this is why no one was there and all the others restaurants were busy. Shame Shame Shame

The food was good. Sadly the service was HORRIBLE! Walked in around 7pm this evening, not even a hello or welcome from the girl behind the counter. She honestly looked miserable. Never smiled, Never really made eye contact just completely BLAH! Her demeanor was off putting and made our first experience at SmashBurger our last.

Wasn't great. I didn't like the burger very much. The tomatoes were salty, which was strange to me. Also, it was burnt and didn't even taste like a burger. Their bathrooms were disgusting, and staff waning very friendly. However, their fries were delicious!

Thank You to the smash burger staff for remaking my order I appreciate the Staff for being kind, prompt, and my burger was delicious!! I travel from state to state and I can say this is one of the cleanest locations I've been too. Thank you again smash burger You all are wonderful
My first time here at Smashburger ever, so I did think the food was good. I had a double smash and asked that it was cooked well done, which I couldn't tell if it was because we ordered two of the same burger. The melted cheese covered the patties so it was hard to tell. The fries were too crispy and almost tasted stale. I know it was a bit overpriced because we were in a touristy area. But, I enjoyed my meal and I would come back. It was super busy and service was slow.

So so. The chicken petty is not hot. But I love kfc Coleslaw. That's all. It's just good to eat before going into Universal.

Food was ok, staff was great but came in with a coupon that said free sin City burger. They said A. They don't have the burger and B. You have to order a double patty burger to get this offer. Not happy with the false advertising, but it not this locations fault. However I would say that $10 for these burgers is a collosal waste of money.

The hubs picked some up on the way home (only a couple miles distance) and the name of the place says it all. Not really a good thing. Cold, disheveled burgers and buns. The fries were tasteless, stale and cold - sort of tasted like the ones you got back in school where they added vitamins to the potatoes (or so I was told). No need to go back.
