Really lovely customer service. I went in because I wanted a buttery croissant. Then, the smell of fresh bread! So good. I bought several pastries and rolls, all delicious. The atmosphere is charming, not pretentious. For a fancy, less hometown feel, go to Crème in Claremont, which has the best damn chocolate chip cookie on the planet.

The sweets are famous! BUT, I just picked up a chicken salad sandwich & could not swallow the only bite i took. Something in it is spoiled! I almost threw up. Every pastry or cookie I've got there has been delicious but I won't be buying any other food. The people are nice. But I almost threw up from the chicken salad sandwich. Spoiled. The macaroni salad was good.

Pastry was great, hot and fresh. Absolutely one of the best guava items I've had in SoCal. The coffee was very subpar. Wish the atmosphere was better, too cold and sterile.

I absolutely love this place. The gentleman there I believe the owner is just so kind coming here absolutely makes my day. My daughter also loves it. This time we came in he gave us a delicious biscotti. Thank you again for your kindness. I really enjoy their chicken and bell pepper sandwich as well as the tiramisu. My new favorite bakery.

We were in downtown Upland shopping, and saw this very nice Local Bakery shop. We went inside and we greeted with friendly service. First time in the bakery, and I wanted to order a custom birthday cake. The gentleman working with us, who is the owner, explained everything to us and helped us easily with the order. He was kind enough to let us try a delicious pastry while waiting. We got a personalized text message and photo of the update with the Baker. She was very detailed about what we wanted to perfection. We decided to go with the Carrot cake and cream filling, and let me tell you, it was the best carrot cake ever! When we picked up the cake and saw the way it came out, I was so impressed by the detail. They gave my son, who is 5 years old, a cookie. Such great service! We found our new family baker!Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly service.

Cute little cafe with charm and a great attendant at the register. Didn’t see their famous guava pastry but asked the gentleman at the front if he had any and he quickly rushed to the back and grabbed me on fresh out of the oven. Had to hold back and only grab one… but after my first bite I really wanted a whole dozen!Pleasant and quick experience here, if only it was a bit closer to me would I be here every morning. You don’t find authentic bakeries like this that much anymore—- be sure to pay a visit.

An enthusiastic staff told us about the pastries. We ordered a guava and cheese puff, cinnamon roll and coffee. It was decadent. Why not stop in and satisfy your sweet tooth. Tell them Joe sent you . . . They'll say Joe who? That's me?Parking: Nice, in the middle not on the side of the street.

This delightful bakery serves up the most amazing desserts and savory dishes! There’s a little seating within and outside the establishment. We had the most delicious cinnamon roll with a perfect balance of sweetness, and it literally melted in my mouth. We also tried a variety of desserts that included eclairs, puffs, guava, pecan and cakes and every one of them was a great as the other. Their bakers are incredibly talented. They can do phenomenal cakes of just about any request too! Lastly but most certainly not the least is their croissant. This big guy is in a league all his own! It’s not like a store bought croissant, it’s truly a fabulous melt in your mouth amazing treat! We also got Japanese curry turnovers that are sooo yumm. They also have chicken ones too. There’s pizza, spaghetti, salads and sandwiches as well. It’s apparent that everything is carefully crafted, and the folks there are so kind and considerate. They’re really excited about their products and care about the customers satisfaction. So whether you walk in for a take away, a sit down meal, or catering, it’s all here!Parking: Ample parking close by and all aroundKid-friendliness: Kids will love the selection and staff is so kind to kids, great birthday cakes can be created to your specifications.
