My experience at this location in Vacaville was horrible! I wanted some vegetables so I ordered an add on and told them I wanted some vegetables. So they gave it to me and I asked for a little bit more and I was willing to pay for it. The Hispanic girl answered me, "Oh we don't do that!". I guess they don't want to make money even if you are willing to pay for it.

Their burgers are a bit mushy but consistent. The onion rings were nice & crispy brown. The fries were about average consistency. I wish their app offered more options; my wife likes her burger on sourdough bread and with sautéed onions, but I can't find any way of ordering that online, so I waste their time taking the order and mine waiting for it to be prepared.

I love Nations. I grew up eating at one of the original restaurants in San Jose. Just stopped by the Vacaville store on my way home from the bay. Their bacon cheeseburger is still delicious. Lemon meringue pie is one of their best pies. Warning, the burgers have sweet miracle whip on the bun. Substitute for more ketchup mustard if you don't like sweet burgers.Parking: Lots of parking in the larger center.Kid-friendliness: Open table seating and very casual.

Super clean, very polite staff. I watched the cook meticulously handle each customer's orders, changing his gloves anytime he handled meat. He changed gloves 4 times while I watched my order being expertly prepared. The cashier, in a mask and with gloves, never handled any food item. Just take orders and deliver bags of food to the customers.I've gone to Nation's since I was a child in the 1960's in Oakland, at, I believe, was the original.

Tasty food, good service, and old school ambiance perfectly describes Nation's Giant Hamburgers. This was my first time having Nation's, and I was pleasantly surprised. My order was to-go, and you have to go inside to order because they don't have a drive thru. The lady who took the order was genuine and patient as I placed the order. I got a burger with cheese and everything on it. I also ordered an Oreo cookie milkshake. The burger was tasty and juicy from the first bite, with fresh ingredients. The fries were just ok, probably needed to eat it at the restaurant. But the burger took the show. It was big, juicy and filling. Although there's no drive thru, I will definitely be back. And that says a lot.
