The Popeye drive thru is right next to Interstate 80. As I was ordering, it was super difficult to hear what the person on the speaker was saying. The volume of the person speaking was a near whisper. Not sure if it was a technical issue or intentional. She didn’t ask me to repeat myself. I had to ask her to repeat herself several times. But for sure the freeway noise didn’t help.I ordered a sandwich (6) piece wing combo and wanted the wings not tossed in a sauce. I just wanted it original, unsauced. She said that they don’t sell it unsauced and I must pick a flavor. Hmm. This didn’t seem right. So I just picked the garlic parmesan to end the standoff and go on with my life.I ate in the car. The wings were tossed in a wet sticky sauce, it tasted awful. Tasted nothing like garlic or parmesan. Didn’t look that great either. I did my best to wipe the sauce off. The mashed potato was tasty though. I ate my meal and lived to tell about it.

Not once has this location ever gotten my order right! I mean I’ve ordered 7/7 times here and I’m either missing a biscuit, a side, or an entire piece of chicken. This time it was a side and I’m sick of it because I go through the drive thru like most fast food places and don’t eat and find out until I get home.

I stopped in to pick up a very large order. I ordered at the counter and waited approx 15 min for my items to be prepared. For what I ordered the wait was not a problem. I probably could have called it in or ordered online. The place was pleasant and clean and busy. The manager and employees were very accommodating during my wait.
I've now come here 3 times in the last 2 months since I moved back here temporarily. Not a single time in the drive through have I not had a food item missing.Is somebody eating our fries?

Luv that chicken from Popeye's! ...that was four years ago. I still love it when I GET it; usually spicy thighs for lunch, but the last two times my son went to punch up tenders, they were missing from the order. Twice, pieces, each time we paid $12.39. Each time the most expensive item in our order! Is someone on the staff eating them? Can they be sold twice?

Food was ready before I even finished putting the cap on my drink. Mac and cheese was a solid glob of...mass? Probably sat under the heat lamp too long. Shout out to Jaime for spending more time flirting with his coworker rather than taking orders. He is oblivious to you staring right at him at the counter even though you're 3 feet from him. He's more interested in his coworker than performing his job. If it wasn't for the girl telling him, he probably would have ignored his line forever. Service is a 1 star as expected from most Popeyes locations.
I have been to this Popeyes location many times, but have rarely had a time when something wasn't wrong here whether it be missing items from the order or poor service. This time it was both. When I showed up to pick up my app order, the restaurant was mostly empty so I was served quickly. I was handed my order, but I was in a hurry because the kids were hungry and drove home without checking to see if all items ordered were included. When we got home and started handing out everyone's order, we noticed we were missing a plain classic chicken sandwich. We were all hungry so I didn't check if there was anything else wrong with the order. I drove 10 minutes back to this Popeyes and when I mentioned we were missing a plain chicken sandwich the server immediately called in the order. When the sandwich was done, he just handed the sandwich to me and I left. There was no apology or offer of something extra for the error in the order which I thought was chintzy since had to drive 10 minutes one way back to the restaurant to pick up the missing chicken sandwich. When we started eating, we noticed there was no mayo or pickle on the spicy chicken sandwich, but there was supposed to be, only the non-spicy one was supposed to be to be plain. I remembered the sandwiches were supposed to include ranch sauces that I specifically had added to the order, but it was not included either and was not worth driving back for. Their food overall tasted fine, but it's just another disappointing visit to this location. I am not sure why this location is so bad. Maybe the employees just need better training and management. I feel it is worth driving 20+ minutes over to the Suisun location vs coming to this one despite it being closer as I have never had any issues at the Suisun location.
