Went to go eat lunch today March 1st and a sign is up says goodbye. I will miss the salads and soup and the apple pie at Christmas was amazing. We have fewer and fewer restaurants in Vacaville where you can sit down and relax with family.It was a good run. Thanks.

Either this place is closed down or the health department shut them down all lights and signage and parking lot lights are off however it says they are open till 10:00 Pm this location is closed.

Tahoe joe's ? More like Tahoe no's !! Don't come here unless you like your restaurant experience to be rude slow and uncaring. Personally I like my restaurants experience to be pleasant and full of smiles I'm sure the owner has no idea of the level of incompetence his employees are representing themselves but no excuse. Also be advised I watched how crappy they treated others at the restaurant as well don't go to Tahoe joe's . trust me they won't care if you go or not . It felt like they had a bet among themselves to who could be crappiest to customers. Thank you for reading

Don't waste your time or your money. Tahoe Joe's doesn't care about either. The last few times we've been here the service is worse and worse. We like to go and sit at the bar but the last 3 times the bartenders act like they're doing us a favor and the last time made us wait 5-10 minutes before even asking for our drink order but the people that walked in after us and decided to move from the bar to a nearby table got served immediately. Today the bar was just closed like they didn't want anyone in there so we stood at the hostess stand for 5-10 minutes before someone finally decided to walk as slow as possible, doesn't bother to even say hi to anyone then asks in the boredest tone possible how many? And proceeds to tell us it's a 20 minute wait for a nearly empty restaurant while we just watched at least 5 employees walk around without even an acknowledgment. No. We will never eat here again.

Excellent experience! Went for my Mom's pre bday dinner and our waiter named Jack was awesome! He made suggestions and even accommodated my son who is vegetarian. The appetizers were amazing and the main course was wonderful! Will go back again and request Jack as our server! The drinks were delicious too!! This place is way better than Texas Roadhouse and Cattleman's

Although not all that busy. After 15 minute wait we went and sat at the bar. Still took another 10 minutes to place drink order and 10 more minutes to receive the drinks. Chicken noodle soup had a awful taste. Can't say much for their salmon either extremely strong fishy taste. They're addictive shrimp appetizer as a call it was also extremely fishy. Barbecue ribs were OK. Dirty martini taste it like mostly olive juice. Lacking liquor. Waitress comped the salmon dinner. Menstrual was extremely dirty. Had money left over on a gift card left it for the waitress. Along with a tip. No plans of ever going back

I've come to Tahoe Joe 's before but this is the first time that I have gone to the one in Vacaville. The ambience is nice, cool decorations and responsive wait staff. However, my priority for going to any restaurant is the food. While my lunch companion was satisfied with his Fish & Chips, my Buffalo wings tasted as if someone had poured a box of salt in them- so clearly, i was not happy. Even the delicious glass of strawberry lemonade did not take away the salty flavor of the buffalo sauce. I am not sure if this was a fluke, but this briny dish was enough to guarantee that I never ask for it again. I was kind with the score of three stars because I was also disappointed the cleanliness (Or lack there of) of the bathroom.

Service was excellent, my steak was awesome. I'm giving it three stars because the bathroom was nasty. I just reviewed another restaurant they had the same problem I don't know if there's a shortage of people who don't want to clean bathrooms at restaurants. Honestly the whole restaurant was kind of dank and dirty it needs a major overhaul and they need to clean the restaurant. There was crumbs on the seats and visible in the open space between the seat and back of seat if that makes sense. We sat in a booth. Please clean the restaurant and clean your bathroom please. But keep up the good job on the food and service thank you. Did I mention CLEAN YOUR BATHROOMS!!

First time experience.. Frigging freezing.... seriously uncomfortable! Waitress casually states yeah the heater is broken.. WTH. Not sure if you have to request water .. was never offered that hour in got . We did receive 2 hot sourdough rolls with butter.. Very good. . 2 hours in for arrives fuck!n cold SERIOUSLY... the obvious we ask for manager.. he's more than happy to take it off the bill... no s**** you think... NEVER AGAIN! LOOK ELSEWHERE QUICK..

We had already viewed the menu online while driving home from the holiday weekend. And already knew what we were going to order. We were told that the wait would be 45 minutes to and hour so as not to impact the kitchen too much. Huh? We asked if we could sit at the bar and have a drink while we waited but apparently that was going to impact the kitchen as well. The hostess went on to tell the two other groups waiting that they could only accommodate ten tables at any given time. I'm sure it makes perfect sense to them, but not to any of the three groups of people waiting to be seated. So we went .5 miles down the road to another lunch spot and got seated right away. When you are smack dab in the middle of ten or more other sit down restaurant choices , sorry Tahoe Joe's but I will have to pass.

I love the Calamari steak at this restaurant! Its the best I have ever have!Their food is consistently good. I did have one order a couple of months ago that was lacking, but I talked to the Manager and he resolved the issue. I have been going there for many years and I recommend this establishment!

What a let down. Used to come here two or three times a month. Then moved out of area. We were back today really looking forward to a good dinner. This place has gone down the tubes. Service was slow and only half full. Ordered fillets and they were over cooked. Waiter said they would fix. On the 2nd steak, they were cooked worse! We got an extremely over cooked hokey puck for our filets. Manager didn't really say much other than "I'm not sure what's going on in the kitchen" and offered to comp the meal which was inedible anyway. Sad to see this once really good restraunt go down hill so badly. You guys lost some regular customers.

Stopped in for the usual lunch, fish & chips.They were out of fish ?.I had Sierra Mountain Dip and my wife ordered a Mushroom Burger.The dip was a perfect blend of French Dip & Philly Cheese Steak (thin sliced Tri-Tip, just enough cheese to not be gooey, peppers & onion, very tasty Au-Jus).As my Wife was eating her burger a mushroom fell out, I stole it, it tasted like it had been smoked. When she started filling up, she let me have a bite.I don't remember a better burger ever, wood fired, great texture, juicy.Short story long...Tahoe Joe's is now my favorite burger place.
