Had the Greek salad with chicken gyro. Although others would probably appreciate the large amount of chicken received I thought it was too much for the salad. Barely got any greens although I asked for them. The pita was light and good as were the sauces, garlic and hummus. The worst part was the chicken gyro which had an old taste to it as they said they were out of the other chicken option. It was chopped up and not in the long lengths as others have posted. Husband had the wrap with chicken souvlaki and it tender, but plain in flavor. The amount of fried provided was very small although he said they were delicious. The soda had an odd taste, but I think that had more to do with the local water than an issue with the machine. Overall paid $30+ for an unsatisfactory meal.

I was eager to try this place because of the rave reviews. But it's hard not to compare them to Gyromania. The online ordering was easy, the food seemed ok, but honestly, nothing was memorable. And they didn't have garlic sauce. They were either sold out or it was just unavailable. The avgolemono soup had a strange texture that we just couldn't get past. That was disappointing. I might give them another try, but I don't have any plans to go back anytime soon.

Apola is the best Greek in SCV, which is crazy because it's fast (think Chipotle style). But it's true. It's so delicious and flavorful. Good options and some authentic pieces like dogmas. The service is very friendly and fast. The owner (I think) even made me a batch of fries and grilled veggies fresh. The price is more than fair for the quality. If you get a plate, you almost certainly can get two meals out of it, too. Go to Apola for Greek in SCV!Vegetarian options: Delicious options if you pick the right items.

Today was our first time here. My wife and I both found the menu and the ordering process a little confusing. She ordered the felafel pita sandwich. She wasn't enamored with the taste of the felafel balls. I ordered the pork gyro sandwich. The pork was excellent with great flavor. Both were good. The prices seem reasonable and the staff was friendly. It was very clean inside and I liked the layout.

Everything was on point. The service was great, very welcoming. We had the fire fries and the pork gyro. We also tried the baklava cheese cake. It's a great place to eat at.

Can't recommend this place enough. The staff are always friendly and the meat is delicious! You definitely get your monies worth with the amount of meat you get in your pita. The place is always spotless and clean also!

I came here today for lunch for the second time and the food was just as horrible as the first time! I should have known better! I ordered a chicken pita wrap and the chicken was dry, flavorless and burnt! Don't waste your money and go somewhere else! Very disappointed!!!
Their food is delicious. Everything is fresh. The customer service was good. The rewards program is terrible. Why? It never works. And they send emails we miss you. That's something I would fix and I would go more often.

Apola is a great spot for lunch or dinner. The people are so nice and welcoming. The inside is well designed and beautiful and clean. The food is amazing, so many choices and ingredients. Would highly recommend this place.

I give this place a 5 star because first of all, ITS SO CLEAN you will never catch the table being dirty at this place, Second of all the food is definitely a 5 star worth, The meat, bread, vegetables almost just melt in your mouth IT TASTES SO GOOD. Last but not least they don't take long to bring your food, it's definitely worth it
