3.5 stars The fried calamari is always overdone. The fries are pretty good. The shrimp is cooked perfect! I've been to many places where it's mushy and hard to peel. They season everything so well. They only have canned soda which I find really annoying, you can't get any refills and have to purchase another soda. The bags they serve the seafood in always break and make such a mess. They've also messed up numerous times on our order and bill. Overall a decent place to get some good seafood.

I have had this before but this time had a better experience thanks to the adorable young lady named Riyah ! Her customer service was five stars. She was fast and efficient and she even walked our order out to us in the car. She did forget our silverware and bibs but still an enjoyable experience. we will be back . keep up the good work Riyah this establishment is lucky to have you .

Bag o crab is one of the newer restaurants in vallejo and it's great to see we are improving the community. However it's unfortunate how horrible the service is here. I have been on multiple occasions and the service is always horrible especially at the front desk. This is not somewhere I will ever recommend. It is too expensive to be treated badly. It's a shame because the food is good on most days. The ambiance is not not nice with the staff being so incredibly, unfriendly. I hope they are able to improve from how far they have fallen.

There have been several visits to this establishment to dine in and take out over this past year and for a great while Ithis Yelp page was disabled. During those times, I had tried to give some 4, possibly 5 star reviews but today I can only give 2 stars. It's my fault, a little, like I know, better to go then to go to a restaurant and order a non-specialty item and expect it to be as good as the specialty items that they are known for. I wanted some fried fish to take home after a couple of shortstops at Michael's and Marshalls for Easter basket supplies. I had cooked this morning for the family but of course some of the things that they eat I do not. I tried to order from one of my local small businesses. However, I couldn't get through on their line to make an order for pick up on the way home and since I'm in the parking lot I decided to go here and try their fried fish. And I thought I tasted it before but I haven't but one thing for sure it wasn't what I expected. In fact, I know I've tasted it before at the San Leandro location. Well today's rendition of fried fish and "garlic fries "ended up being just a seasoned fries overcooked and Panko breaded fish, which was not what I was looking for. It was barely seasoned and not their best effort. I will stay on the boil side of the menu.

Worst service ever we waited at a table for 20 minutes and not one person came to our table. We ended up just walking out. We saw the manager outside in the parking lot smoking a joint with her friends, that's why nobody's doing anything inside. What a great example for her employees. One star only because I have too!

First timer. Not from here. The male employee With the piercing(Hispanic or white guy) on his cheekbone (who was the first person to greet you was standing with a light-skinned female with braids) was very childish and rude. And disrespectfully talked bad about my Mother who was outside minding her business he just looked out saying “She better not come in here” then gossiped with other male employees who came over to look outside at an adult woman mind you that is not looking crazy and we just came from church so we're in church wear. My sister and I came in to see what to order we didn't even get the chance to sit down or even finish looking at the menu before he disgustingly made that comment about my mom. Bad customer service that's not how you keep customerson St.patricks Day 03/17/24 at 4 pm

GNATS FLYING AROUND EVERYWHERE! It's pretty bad. Once your food comes out, the gnats start swarming. There is no "bar" either. They have something that resembles a bar, but no bartender and hardly any liquor. It's a shame because the food is not bad.

We had an excellent experience this evening my daughter turned 15, so we went here for the first time. I am not into shellfish too much; however, the smell of the seasoning was amazing! The bags ordered were very fulfilling for all who ate. I had the Cajun Fish everything was great seasoned to the core. The service was great we appreciate it he fact they played Happy Birthday song for my daughter along with an ice cream. We had cake there as well(which the server asked if it needed to be placed in the fridge extremely thoughtful).... I plan to be back for the fish

It gave me diarrhea the next day. They use that clarified butter and garlic. It was tasty just didn't do well for my tummy.

Love this place. The food is good. Love the flavors. BUT i do think it's inconvenient that there always seem there's an issue with the payment option. The other night we were only able to use cash or Zelle. That was kinda odd. I get it when your system goes down and you want to stay open. But instead of having employees tell the customers, put a sign on the door let the customer know before coming inside so they can make the decision if they want to stay or not. I have to admit i got a little skeptical. I wasn't sure if the person was trying to pocket the payment or was it really going to the restaurant lol.
