This place is definitely a hidden gem. The service was unmatched. The owner, I'm assuming he was the owner, took his time to explain to us the menu and give us his recommendations which was super helpful. The wait wasn't long considering they made the food to order. The fish and chicken were amazing, super flavorful and tender! The price was also super fair considering we ordered so much, and they added some freebies! Would highly recommend this place.

Went there to get a 4 piece red snapper meal and 2 piece chicken meal. Let's start with the good stuff--the dirty rice was decent, nothing to write home about, but certainly nothing to complain about either.The fish was very fresh, and the flavor was on point. I got the beer batter which was soggy is very thin, so for those of you who enjoy that, I'm sure it's fine.The chicken was good, but if I'm being frank, it's like a less flavorful version of the KFC original. Chicken is done well, but bland otherwise. 6/10 would sometimes recommend

I just tried this place out yesterday with the buddies and really enjoyed the meal. My buddies mostly wanted to try it out, although I am not a big fish-eater myself so I wasn't too excited with the idea, but went with the flow. I tried the fish (I believe cod fish) and to my surprise it exceeded my expectations and was very tasty. Good balance of crispiness, texture, and flavor. The fries, er chips rather, were also very delicious. I would definitely recommend! This place needs more advertising tbh.

I had high hopes from the reviews but this one disappointed us. The breading on the fish was really good and the fish was fried well. The red snapper was really good but the catfish was kind of funky - too fishy IMO (didn't taste fresh). Fries were mediocre (half over cooked). The most disappointing part was that the tartar sauce was in condiment packets and the dirty rice was NOT dirty rice, it was just plain rice with ground beef on top. No veggies, no seasoning, nothing. It wasn't all bad but it wasn't all good. Bummed. I had hoped we had found a new spot.

9/10! I usually get the cat fish fillet and they never disappoint me. Dirty rice is fine but the fish and fries are better! Totally recommend this place if u love seafood!

Man the cat fish was so good, seasoning was on point and my man knew how to cook my fish I didn't even had to tell him. But I got the fish and oysters, and the oysters was so fresh. HIGHLEY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!
Went with my family for halal food, and alhamdullah they have everything halal and fresh, everything was amazing! Recommend this place for my Muslim brothers, and sisters.

So I've only eaten at this restaurant two times the first time I I use doordash for pickup and I ordered the ordered oysters and added red snapper with beans and rice and ordered another red snapper. Picked it up like maybe 20 minutes later to cook told me to make call in next time and I can do the door edge because that's what I noticed the prices on doordash were a lot higher than they were in the store and that was with pickup so if you can calling don't use doordash. The batter was really good. Not too salty not too bland and fried just right. The beans and rice were really good. Seasoned just right. After that experience I told myself I would definitely go back. My mother-in-law came over last night I really wanted some catfish so I said let's go to this restaurant it was really good the last time I had it I place my order over the phone and I went to pick it up. We ordered catfish nuggets with fries, the steak fries, oysters and added red snapper with beans and rice, the blazing combo with two pieces of fish two piece and two of chicken and beans n rice and 5 wings. It was wrong closing time and it just seem a little busy. I got the food home I noticed the side items were all mixed up. Totally different experience from my first experience. The seasonings were way off the chicken wings were under seasoned and say like my beans and rice were overly seasoned. The red snapper didn't taste fresh and the oysters were fried really hard. It's hard to tell what's an oyster and what's batter. The greens were super salty. Had to rince in water. The steak fries were disgusting. They were for my daughter I asked for no jalapenos. When I open the box there was just fries cheese and meat. My daughter asked me to try the meat cuz it tasted funny. The meat was disgusting it's I don't know if it was old or some other type of meat. The steak was an unedible. She had to scrape all the meat off just to eat the fries and the cheese. She also said there was not a lot of fries in general. Big disappointment. Not sure if I would go back. I would rather drive to Safeway and fry my own fish

Good food and portions. Last time I was there, got 3 fish and chicken and was told could get any chicken pieces. I requested thighs and when I got home, had legs, wing and thigh. So much for being able to have any piece La I wanted.

Craving good ol' fish and chip. Haven't had them since leaving Sonoma County. Found one finally in Vallejo. They are new. Been here for about year and half. Thought I would give them a try. When I got there, clean and very friendly staff. Ordered cod fish and chip and friend ordered same, but with dirty rice. Got back to work to eat, They looked ok. Good size fillets. When I bit into it, was expecting fancy flavors. That is when I was disappointed. No flavor. French fries, really no salt and little on the cool side. Tarter sauce, packet. Dirty rice, no flavor. This place has the potential to be something good. Just need to put a little twist on the breading. Fries could be cooked just few minutes longer. Just need to dip into the bed of season and this place will be on its way. Will try again little later on. To see if any improvement.
