I ordered a prime rib French dip. It was awful. I was sat in a corner and forgot about.

My fiancée was going here EVERY single day before we got together. The staff all know Jason by name and great him. They even bring his ice tea without being prompted. I love the Caesar salad. Lately we've been ordering the pork chops and they're always so good. Lately it hasn't been too busy either which is unfortunate because this place should be more busy based on the food and service alone.

Came for breakfast as usual. Pancakes were hard, gummy. Pancakes are lacking milk and eggs, and not served with enough butter. same thing with biscuits. Not enough consistency. Needs to be more improved.

The food at the buttercup was surprisingly good for service and the atmosphere was on point I am definitely going to return. I have been telling all my friends. How good the service and the atmosphere is that pancakes were exceptionally good.

Complements to the morning staff at Vallejo Buttercup. Very friendly and accommodating, especially Elda. Because of this, we made it a point to be there every Sunday.

The area is in a somewhat bad place, but the inside is very nice and good servers. The service is somewhat fast, and food gets served to you quickly. The last time I went to this place, I got to get the Mushroom Burger. The food here isn't best presentation wise, but still very good tasting food. Recommend 100%

My husband and i came here after an exhaustive search for a breakfast place. The ButtercuP delivered. My omelette was delicious and the hasbrowns were sheer perfection. The English muffin was more like a muffin from London, but I didn't want to quibble. They provided the butter and jam anyway, so I didn't have to provide my own. Their water was some of the wettest I've ever had. The coffee was hot and not too dry. The table was stable and didn't fall over as were the plates. The silverware worked perfectly-I didn't have to replace one piece. The condiments were plentiful with lots of sugar and cream for my coffee, all of which I used. Turns out 15 sugar packets is a bit too much for one cup but we live and we learn. The decor takes you back in time to a time beyond description. Faux brick, faux wood floors, faux vinyl seating, faux glass windows, faux asbestos ceiling, faux art; all lead to a dining experience that is faux sure a dream-mare. Bring your family, minus the kids, and enjoy. The dining here can certainly be called fine. Scrambled Eggs

Old school family restaurant, cooks are ON IT, the wait staff kicks major butt and they're always so welcoming and warm. They remember their regulars, the food is always hot and when they aren't slammed, the waters stay full.Love this place. Seriously.

This place is great. We used to go to the one in Oakland. This one is a much better atmosphere.Even when it is busy, the wait is rarely very long. Super clean, great food and staff are the best. A warm friendly comfortable atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Impossible burger was good!

I had breakfast there this morning and it was busy. I ordered T-bone steak and eggs and it was delicious. The steak was huge and it was juicy cooked perfectly. The bread was honey oat wheat bread and it was soft and buttery. The service was great and we had big party. Everyone was satisfied. Usually in this slow recession economy, most restaurants are empty but not this place, it was packed with people and everyone seems to be enjoying the food. The place has that nice cozy Las Vegas breakfast atmosphere. Highly recommended.
