This was the absolute worst barbecue I have ever had in my entire life. This is my honest review. This food made me sick and ruined my otherwise fantastic day ?????The expired meat was in a soup of low quality, disgusting BBQ sauce. The off-brand barbecue sauce you can buy at Walmart is better quality.The potato salad was nigh inedible. The greens were so bitter I literally spat them out onto the ground in horror.The fries that she said she made fresh for us were soggy as if they'd been left on the counter and microwaved in haste and then doused in the sink with dirty water.The cornbread was the only edible thing.0/5 stars

They get a two. Used to be hella good. Like for reals, best in California. But all types of bad now. They only smoke once a week. So after that your food is what was left. Sides are extra small. Beans are under cooked. And prices are too high. I'ma have to pass on this from now

I have eaten here for a few years. Ribs are always good, no matter what sauce u choose. The quantity has gotten shorter though and prices ($30 - 2 way) are up. Coleslaw is ok and they need work on their beans. My beans were crunchy today....wth...I would only get ribs if I went back as prices are too high now, cash only, and the beans really messed me up with how crunchy they were. So sorry, won't be back.

One of my favorite BBQ spots. I finally got to the Mac N Cheese before they sold out,it smackz just like everything else GOD. I drove 50+ miles for it.
Pulled off the highway because we were starving, at first all we saw in town was a Jack in The Box and a Popeyes but luckily kept looking and found CJ's! Everyone was so nice and the food was SO good. We shared a 2-meat combo with 2 sides; ribs, chicken, Mac salad, and potato salad and then got some hush puppies. We went with hot sauce and it had a kick but was still flavorful. If I'm ever back out this way I will definitely come here again!

Bad customer service! Close early! Told me to come back before 7, got there 15 minutes before close and was denied because they put the food up early.
I was so looking forward to a good plate of BBQ HOT LINKS BBQ BEANS AND MAC AND CHEZ....... I WAS BEYOND DISAPPOINTED AND PISSED OFF!!! I spent $30.00 for my food and ate NOTHING NOTHING!! The Hot link's tasted like they'd been sitting there for at least 8 hours along with the BBQ BEANS and they then decided to throw some log cabin syrup on them OMG it tasted HORRIBLE and then them MAC AND CHEZ was just sitting around all day in a pot of oil because that's exactly how it tasted. I didn't take my food back because I NEVER NEVER WANT TO STEP FOOT IN THERE AGAIN!!! That service was unbelievably bad horrible disgusting awful and just BAD! I'm really livid because I work very hard for my money and they took my money and gave me food not fit for dog and I hate to say that but it was seriously that bad. I plan on going to EVERY social media platform site I can to tell of my experience I spent $30.00 for my meal of HOT LINK SMALL BBQ BEANS AND MAC AND CHEZ and I AM FREAKING HUNGRY I HAVE TO EAT SOME NOODLES FOR DINNER

As much as I try to support not only local small business, but especially black owned ones this one I can't do. I've given this spot two opportunities and got the same results. I'm big on customer service, I'll spend my money with you even if you're your product isn't the best. It can't be the worst but middle of the road I'll fade you once in a while. The counter person at this spot will kill your vibe. She's like eating a three day old Popeyes Biscuit....dry! Not welcoming at all. I light weight felt like I was bothering her. I know we all have bad days, but I got the same vibe both times.

Hidden gem old school BBQ in Vallejo. Some of the best hot links I've ever had. Their BBQ sauce is to die for. I highly recommend giving them a try.

I guess things have changed over the years. I came down to CJ's and notice a lot of changes especially how much of a significant change in pricing of the food. I paid almost 80 dollars for two plates and a side not to mention that my chicken was dry and inedible to eat, as well as, the beans were uncooked in which I had to throw them away. The sides were for like a toddler to eat, very small portion. Service was just okay no interactions from the staff too customer. I was very disappointed and it made sense why their was no customers. Although we have limited bbq places in Sonoma area it is best too travel to the town
