We love playing here, however they have begun setting the t-times way too close together, making play pitifully SLOW!! 5 holes we've played in 1.5 hours!! Horror!!

I played a round of golf today and was disappointed to reach the 10th hole at noon only to see a sign saying the snack bar is closed for lunch. CLOSED FOR LUNCH AT NOON! There's a lunch menu so I would expect it to be open at lunch hour.

Someone has to say it- this is a 40 dollar course, not 90. The greens are horrible, tee box is bad and the fairways trash. I cannot believe that they are charging what they are charging. Franklin is a better choice for half the price.. that is a FACT

This message is for the owner or the highest of management. I recently played at Hiddenbrooke on September 6 at 7:45 AM. To make a long story short, I left a personal bag in one of the golf carts before my tee time because I ended up switching carts unknowingly that I left my bag in the other cart. The group that played before me was kind enough to return the bag to one of your employees name Callie. After asking Callie 3 separate times if anyone has returned my bag, she denied and said no one returned anything. I eventually caught up to the group around the 16th hole and ask them if they return the bag and they said yes and that they returned it to Callie specifically. When we both finished our rounds myself and the group that played before me Confronted Callie about the bag, she then so conveniently remembered and replied "oh, yes, I left it on the table there, but I don't know what happened to it afterwards." we eventually got the manager Nate involved, and he was defending his employees saying that he "Trusts her" and "she would never do anything like that." he went onto than reply that " we are in Vallejo So things like this happen." as I am discussing with the manager Callie excuses herself and says she will be right back. She literally returned 3 minutes later with my bag but with my wallet missing all my other items as far as cards and ID were in there, but my wallet, which was a black Louis Vuitton card holder wallet was missing along with a picture of my child. I asked her where did she find the bag and she said she just found it laying on the parking lot floor. I was baffled by the answer and I asked her so you're telling me that my bag was laying there for 4 to 5 hours without anyone touching it and you so conveniently found it within five minutes after I asked you three separate times. If you have seen this bag? She did not have a response and began to stutter and change her story. I am extremely frustrated on how I was treated at this so-called pristine golf course and I will make sure that no one golf's here ever again. This golf course has thieves working for them and we pay to play here. I shouldn't have to worry about my personal items being stolen! None of the employees took ownership in their wrongdoing, and tried to blame me and the other gentleman that return my item as in the wrong! I will be writing multiple reviews and will get my lawyer involved on how I was treated at this golf course!

it's been almost four years since I played this course and I have played it several times but this was the worst shape I've ever seen this course in. fairways were rough with bare patches and hard pan, the greens were in bad shape with maybe 3 or 4 that were good and the other greens had cracks and what looks to be a fungus growing on them. The pro shop was just about empty with merchandise other then hats and one guy working inside. The bag drop was empty so you pulled your clubs out of your vehicle and put them on the rack, there was nobody there to communicate with and you were on your own. clearly this place is running a skeleton crew out there and you get the feeling that it's having financial difficulties and not looking like it's going to be able to hang on much longer. Definitely was not worth ninety dollars plus another ten for range balls. sad to see this course in the shape that it's in because I remember when it was very nice and looked like the LPGA tour had played there, now not so much. Hopefully they can get this course back to where it was before because I'm definitely not making the drive over there to play it again with the shape that it's in now.

Avoid at all costs Has to be the worst course I have ever been too. Haven't mowed the greens or tee boxes. Weeds galore. They only focus on weddings not golf now.

Just like most of the other reviews say this course has a great layout! That is the best part of the course for sure. The driving range is grass not mats which is a huge plus! The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The cons are maintenance is lacking. Par 3 tee boxes look like a war zone and near impossible to find a comfortable place to stand that doesn't have one or both feet partially in divots. Fairways are ok but not great. Greens roll pretty good but don't look very good. The worst part of this place however is the "grille". I can honestly say of any golf course I've ever played including some courses which are far worse than this course, Hiddenbrooke has the worst food I've ever seen. Staff is friendly and it isn't their fault it's the management to even allow such a horrible menu/quality of food. It's really bad. I had a chicken Caesar wrap thinking that would be the safest of the 5 or so options and I was worried the rest of the day I would be sick from it. Still giving 5 stars because I would come back to play the course again as it has a fun layout. If this course were maintained better and had a decent food option I would pay twice as much to play it. Since it doesn't I would definitely not pay over $50 with cart and probably won't play unless it's a $40 or less deal.

Great golf course and very good staff. Just need better maintenance. Seems the course has improved each year I have played there.
It's a great course with beautiful views but people need to take care of the green. There are ball marks everywhere and folks are not repairing their divots. Staff are friendly and also good at golf. It's still a good course.

We got this amazing deal on “Golf Moose”! So scenic and gorgeous golf course, putting greens are really tricky, weaving throughout housing area to get from each hole was an adventure, the sand traps need some attention, hot dogs at the Grill were very good (Thank you to the cook who made us hot dogs when the grill was closed at 4pm, I came in at 4:05.??), Staff was friendly and helpful, challenging course to say the least and made for a good workout walking up the hilly tees. I would recommend you try this course, we will certainly be back!
