I ate at this restaurant once and it was worth to eat here with someone. I was refer to this restaurant by someone which she ate with me during lunch. I ate the Broccoli Beef Lunch with Fried Rice. I was impress how my lunch came out. I enjoy eating here with someone. I wasn't alone when I ate here. I will order here again.

I've been going here since they opened in 1990. But after the way the rude young lady hostess treated me the last few times I went in, I am sorry to say I won't be back! Princess Garden near Target is the best! Very friendly and they even give free dishes to try once in awhile.

I'm pretty upset and dont want to order from this business ever again. I spent a lot of money and the won ton soup was so watery with TWO won tons, and at that they were DOUGHY I could get sick like Really guys? The seafood fried rice was poor quality. ALL of the chicken and pork was GRISSLY I couldn't even eat it!! Quite frankly for the amount of money I spent I am astonished at the size of food I recieved, and the poor quality. NONE of it was good. I thought with your good reviews it would have been a lot better. If I could have my money back I would. It was a waste and true disappointment.

It's good overall; some things not so much. We did the door-dash thing, so it was delivered.Appetizers:Egg Rolls - Good! Crispy and flavorful. Nice vegetable mix inside.Pot Stickers - Where others make the wrappers too doughy, J's gets it right. It's a great balance of wrapper to flavorful meat inside. Good flavor and texture!Main Dishes:Hot & Spicy Beef - this was my LEAST FAVORITE thing we got. It should have been called Salty, Soggy, Beef with hot chili seeds. This was bland except for the overwhelming salt that came through and the occasional chili seed for spice. We won't get this again.Orange Sesame Chicken - this was good EXCEPT that it was like chicken nuggets just thrown into a to-go container with some sauce included. The sauce was on some of the chicken but not on all of the chicken and it's the sauce that conveys the flavor. There was enough to get a light coating on the chicken. I would have preferred that it came that way than for me to have to coat the chicken with the sauce from other chicken pieces. Still, they cook the chicken nicely so it's crisp and not soggy. With added sauce, it's tasty.Prawns with Garden Vegetables - a standard shrimp + veggie dish. It had good flavor and, where some restaurants end up having the whole dish smell like old shrimp, J's did a good job. The vegetables were crunchy and the shrimp was cooked till done and not overdone.Sugar Peas with Two Kinds of Mushrooms - This was one of my favorite dishes of the evening. The flavors of each item came through even with a light garlic sauce. Again, the vegetables were cooked, but not overcooked. We'll definitely get this one again!Noodles:BBQ Pork Chow Mein - This was the surprise of the lot! Chow Mein can be just meh. It's fine. This was full of smokey pork flavor and when mixed with some of the other items on the menu, it came alive and added some back-flavor. I could have finished this container by myself (but didn't, so now we'll have left-overs for lunch). This was a WIN!There were no utensils or napkins included. Yes, we're at home, so we have silverware. I still like the chopsticks experience. It would be nice to have those next time. (Maybe that's a check box to add on the to-go menu pages?)Again, good overall. I'll order from here again. There'll be things I stay away from and other things I'll try next time!

This place never disappoints! The food is always delicious, well balanced and portions are very generous. I think I've ordered almost every item on their menu and have always enjoyed their food especially the walnut prawns, egg plant dishes, dry fried ribs and my kids are addicted to their chicken chow mein (which is my go to when I'm lazy to cook). Definitely the best Chinese food around the area.

We have been eating at J's for years now. A favorite for many birthday dinners. If I go with my kids but not my brother, sis in law and parents they always tell us to say hello to the rest of the family. With Covid we can't eat there and see our favorite people but still have to support our restaurant. We've tried pineapple walnut prawns and numerous other places, no one else compares. Chow fun noodles, or as my kids used to call it fat noodles. We also had the orange sesame chicken, house fried rice, broccoli beef and won ton soup. Excellent. I've had soggy noodles at other places, never disappoint here though.

I Have been dining at this restaurant since I was like 4 or 5... All the way back from it was called Wah Shine in Vallejo on Springs Road..The best Chinese Cuisine in Vallejo...I know bring my children and grandchild there..I highly recommended this restaurant..especially to families...Broccoli Beef and Cashew Chicken is our favorite...The owners keep us coming back...Thank you for all the memories!!!

Definitely took care of the Chinese food cravings. My girl was gone for the weekend recently and I took it as an opportunity to get back to my yelpful duties. I miss my Chow Fun...It's alright making Chow Mein once every other week but I just love those wide rice noodles. The closet place to get them is Concord at Ranch 99 and I have no desire to drive 30 mins over the bridge just to end up paying bridge toll on the way back...So option number 2 is takeout. I had a friend come over that day and I know how much she loves Honey Walnut Prawns so I ended up ordering that too...well rather something close to that. All this time I thought it was Honey Walnut Prawns but J's calls theirs Walnut Pineapple Prawns which is pretty similar in taste. If this is your first time, I highly recommend trying it out as I feel it's definitely their best item. I enjoyed the texture and how flavorful each bite was. Super sweet and super addicting! The Chow Fun wasn't bad. It seemed like it was lacking just a tiny big in flavor however the noodles were cooked perfectly. All the noodles had sauce which was good as well. I wasn't feeling one of the vegetables in the noodles. Normally when I have this dish I am used to just Meat, Noodles, Green Onions, White Onions, and Bean sprouts. But there was something else in there that was throwing me off a little. Maybe it was lemongrass or something? Aside from that the Potstickers were pretty good as well.I actually went here a long time ago so I was very interested to try them out again. Glad to see they are still around! On this particular occasion I went to pick the food up and when I got inside everyone had masks on which was good. I think they had plastic gloves on too? I forget. But they put food on a table when it's ready which you can grab and take. All in all it was a good experience though and I definitely would order from them again.
